i thought you had 240k miles on the truck.. sorry.. sure they should last a bit longer... just check their tension and see if that is the deal.. belt dressing may just do the trick.. it's hard to tell without sweeing the darn things..

i bet you have to replace them pronto... they are probably stretched and thus making noise... tightening them will work only very temporarily..

10-30 M1 but i also still mix it with the new extended mileage ones... probably will try to switch to 5k oil changes also.. 10-w30 weight is what Nissan recommends!

yeah, the light really mean nothing.. as soon as ylu engage the transfer case you get power going to all 4 wheels.. then of course the front has to lock for it to be useful... sometimes i have trouble telling if both fronts are locked or not... backing up tells you that if you hear 2 pops when the fronts unlock.

do a search on the external cooler mod on this site... lot's of good discussion and pictures.. look at the stickies in the garage..

ok, i fixed it.. i just loosened the catch and moved it towards the front of the vehicle, retightened and whala! it's good to go... took all of 2 minutes or so... didn't have to use tape or mess with the latch.. super simple..

It might be, but from what I remmember the TDs don't have an ECU. We don't have em in the states so I have no experiance with them, just remembering a post by a Swed on another board about them. i don't see a diesel havin one but i guess you never know...

yes, power flush is a good thing and not the same as just changing the lube... yup, over half of your fluid is in the torque conv...

under the glove box in the passenger's footwell... look in the shop manual.. it was kind of a hassle but not that hard to do... mine was packed full of junk and i mean full.. had hardly any air circulating...
