make sure to add an extra quart of GL into it...
  4. you must have heard of sand spades (anchors,) no?
  5. CL other then that hmm? the CV axles, if bad, will be loose to handling.. try to shake them.. push/pull in every direction. the pulling was probably caused by low tire pressure in that particular tire..
  6. 110k according to my OM. i am on 31s and you really don't need anything but you'll probably rub a little here and there but no big deal.. i am off by 2-3 mi/h.. i figure if i go with what the speed on the speedo i should be ok. screw the locker, get a winch... hehehehe
  7. if you move all the way E then i'd at least haul them on a trailer but you would need a BIG truck... hauler maybe an option but i think $1k is a low ball estimate... there are also companies that drive your cars across the country for you.. may want to look into that if you feel you cars are that road worthy.. personally i wouldn't feel safe towing my pathy behind anything but the largest U-haul type "vans" expecially loaded to the gills with furniture and bike and i was going over the rockies.. i wouldn't tow my pathy w/o disconnecting the drive shaft even 800mi... why spin any of it needlessly.. (in case of a 2 wheel dolly) Have you ever been to FLA? it's freaking miserable with the humidity and heat and hurricanes.. and talk about FLAT... oh.. anyway good luck Mass. has it's own set of issues but it's close to VT, NH etc..

  10. opinions on oil are kind of like opinions on Iraq.. everybody has a different one.. if i am guessing correctly you have an 87.. that's pretty old.. probably lots of miles.. if you go synth.. just be careful it may make the motor leak bad... i mix some in my truck trying to work it inot full synth..
  11. we all have the speakers in the same spot and nobody here has had a problem with flooding them during water crossing.. you want rust? plug'em up...

  15. i wheel alone most of the time.. i'm also pretty used to my truck so i try things but the level of hardness i attempt diminishes with the amount of peeps in the vicinity
  16. so, are the colors flip floped on the white one? would like to see what it looks like first.
