hey, does a 4tech s-10 have one of them power transistor do hickies? i have the very same problem with the darn chevy.. hate to just throw money at it.. fuel pump is a suspect but when cool or moving it does run.. i do get spark when hot though..

wheelman.. that's pretty weard but i think somtimes the same is going on with mine.. somtimes at 70 on the speedo it feels like i am doing at least 80.. you can also do some time trials.. all interstates have these little blue signs on the side that show milage.. they are even to a tenth of a mile.. so if you go 60mph you should cover a mile in 1 minute..

Aamco rebuilt my 89's AT long time ago.. they did a good job and i think it was only a 90 day warranty also.

it's all in your confidence.. sounds like you're familiar with trannies in general so i think you could do it.. you ought to talk to a tranny shop first though.. there have been a number of tech bulletins put out by Nissan concerning their trucks.. not sure if there were any for the manual tranny besides the extra 1L of GL4.

import used maybe cheaper but then it is used.. i'd have it rebuit especially if you have someone trusted..
