I had a pair of them I got used once (was a set of 4, 2 knock off brand tires and 2 ProComps) I ran one my 93 4x4 HB of the past. The knock-offs had less tread and were on the out-of-allignment front end but the ProComps went to the trash first looking like the tread was drawn on with magic marker (and the truck didn't haul anything, I was generally adamant about my air pressure, and was never wheeled on that set). Compound could have gotten better since then though

I used this mod http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/1792-jgc-console-in-an-87-pathfinder/ to get my cupholders

Summer/fall of 2008, don't remember the miles when I got him, Hardbodys are a different story though...

I have heard rumors that brackets don't interchange between wd21 and d21 (I personally had no issues with my bumper swap history). Bumpers will interchange (being the same style that is) on top of the brackets.
-
Didn't say "the look" was a bad thing. Traffic intimidation making someone think twice about cutting off the "big mean looking front end" can pay for itself without you ever knowing
-
that's true for any bolt on 'guard', they are pretty much an oversized light mounting point that give an 'agressive' look. A purpose built bumper with a properly integrated protection hoop will protect (to an extent) where a bolt on guard will cause more harm than good as they have a tendency to fold in at the top even if hit lower due to their mounting design (as seen from plenty of first hand experience at accident scenes, and will admit to having seen hands on at SLOW speeds them actually protect which I was even a victim of being hit in a parking lot once by a parking space cutter who ran into my little dorky guard I had on my HB-though it was braced from behind the bumper slightly overkill) and light bumps that could have just been a bumper turned into a bumper+fender+hood+lights etc over headlight hoops. If you want true front end protection, get actual armor, not something you can walk out the door of Pep Boys with. now that I went off topic...
-
Ahh yes, wonder if the design could also be modified for 2" as well...

Your "supposed" to clamp off the line and open the bleeder when compressing in the caliper (guilty, I rairly do that), any issues compressing in the calipers though? Did the pads compress onto the rotor at all when you pumped it up? You clean and lube the pad slides/contact points? How about the caliper slides? Cleaned and lubed as well?

And you can aquire a pre made bracket from GrandpaX and read Dowsers how to thread on the install for a frame side panhard drop bracket
-
Preventive maintenance is NEVER a wasted effort! Exactly, some threads (like this one) tend to get bumped on their own enough to keep them live enough to find for new members as well.

AH3 exterior with rapist red interior... I approve

had to change my vote from whatever it was to 33s for now. They hit, rob power (noticeably ), ride a bit harsh (on a already firm suspension at 32psi), were free, and look cool so yes, I currently am completly satisified...

amazing the stuff that seems so much worse in theory compared to actually getting your hands into it (or the other way around sometimes ) Glad to hear it went without a hitch and you used NPORA for one of it's actual purposes and some of its assets (ie: it's helpful members like 5523Pathfinder)!

stuff I would suggest to have on hand anyway
-
I don't recomend nor do I suggest it, but I have done it before on HBs I've had to get me a few days till I could get a switch.

I gotta agree there on those being a sales gimmick, as said a couple inches of wire tied into the old harness still has you with the old harness. I have silverstars in my pathfinder lenses. No complaints but I ain't got high noon daylight in front of me with just them. When I have the hardbody nose on I just have regular sealed beam bulbs and while an old dated design they work well as well (when aimed correctly). I still have to do the harness upgrade as well though so I ain't getting maximum use age out of either setup as of yet.

Highway speeds with it open I get a good amount of airflow. My visors shake and I can feel it at my feet. Don't need no stinkin a/c!

Maby match the 4x4 to body color and black out the background could look good basket fits nicely too
-
your torsion bars will be fine, and I see no reason you would have any issues with ball joint angles or the ability to allign the front end correctly since you only want to crank 1-1.5" over stock (as stated people get away with more than that without issues, I personally had mine cranked hard for a wHile before getting my hands on some UCAs) I would advise against partying like a rock star though, I prefer a clean head (well coffee don't count) when working on my truck and while driving around on the victory ride from completing something...

http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/24494-seafoam/ http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/34049-to-seafoam-or-to-do-something-else/ http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/32189-wondering-about-seafoam/ a couple topics on it, people have mixed reviews with sea foam in general and some can get a bit defensive with their opinions. If you read through them (or most other topics to be found about it here), you'll see mine

WhiteOwl got an exhaust leak fixed today, the interior shoveled out and organized a little, fixed the droopy fabric on the cross bar in the headliner, changed the taillights out for the ones with the covers, moved the roof rack bars around to put a snow brush up there and washed him he's a happy boy today

state by state varies, technically in PA it can be argued wither way on a wd21 as they are truck based that are supposed to have them but are titled as station wagons (as are all suvs in PA) which don't require them. as for 33s hitting? thats no surprise, I'm lifted and still clip my flares on some turns with 33x12.5s
-
I ain't getting into auto/manual debate right now, but the FjJ and X dead? They pretty much ARE only each others competition in that particular segment of the SUV market and tend to be a bit less soccor momish around here (aint cute enough, under a block long, and/or dint have that cushy like a car ride i guess) Durangos, grand cherokees, and Explorers turned into AWD bloated vans, trailblazers are more for the 22" wheels, tint and subs crowd, the small market is all 'crossovers' now, and the full size based market is a different world.

You generally hide secondary buttons for the doors invade of fob failure and a set of hidden terminals behind a bumper or something of the sorts for loss of power situations (neither a hard task)
-
Not my flavor (at one time it was, besides Lamborghini style doors, even they have normal hinges now I think ) Easiest way I always found to keep clean body lines on HB doors was to have a rotted donor door you can cut "filler panels" from and weld in compared to making them. (Joys if usually having plenty of extra panels and the inability to throw stuff away)
