x2 on the double check, just because you did/replaced something and trust your own skill don't mean to trust the vechile likes what you did and didn't reject it and don't forget the free code check as well http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/21-ecu-self-diagnostics-for-87-95-pathfinder/

Thats why I wanted the tube ones, that and easier sticker application

Every 2 door I've seen personally has had the I beam style, I've seen both though on 4 doors (last time I paid atention at the local pick a part all icouod find were I beam style when I wanted the tube style for a wHile, I'm over that right now though and keeping my beams)

95 path 4x4 is it bad to run 1 diffrent tire out of the other 3
nunya replied to fearkobe's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I'd like to see at least matched on an axle but have been in a bind and done it waiting for something to come in with tires I needed. That wrangler you have in the pic link though you probably won't have to worry about that one long (I never see them get any miles) -
is that the dual fuel gauge cluster? It will NOT work, you must send it to me immediatly and I will dispose of it in the proper way! Seriously though there may be some different plugs that could cause some issues as my FSM (which don't show that cluster, FSM is for an 88 though) shows different plugs and pinouts between the "SE" cluster and the "Standard/E/XE" cluster. But I do belive it was either Kingman or MY1PATH that put a cluster/gauges from a different model/same era Nissan. I'll check and see if it's in either of their member rides pages...

as long as when the shadow moves across the dash you don't yell "The fist of fury!" Otherwise I like, I just know the 'form with function' part of me would go nuts with the offness of the angle. Close enough to work and not look bad but far enough I would mumble to myself every time I got in
-
First thing first is I would replace your parts you KNOW you already said you need. You say in the first post you have a known steering issue, I would address that and your bad cv now, making sure all other components bench test (well floor test) and are lubed tightened properly. While the wheels are off make sure brake components are visually and physically in good condition and installed correctly (You can't imagine the number of brake noises and performance issues I see due to an improper/rushed self brake job like loose calipers/frozen-unlubed slides/twisted flex hoses/etc. Everyone makes mistakes, it's human nature )

Rear Tire Carrier....is there a weight limit?

Why must I be constantly bated with chances to make funny comments about Canadians? (you know I still love you my Syrup drinking buddys/guys ) -
Who will copy a chipped key to a non-chipped key?

nunya replied to Towncivilian's topic in The Garage
I know when I got my STI key cut for my truck I went to home depot. Dude looked at me funny handing a blank subaru key and a Nissan key but I cut him off at the line and told him I knew they weren't liable and I assume any risks (so just cut it!). He shrugged, stuck em in the machine, said enjoy and I got the fastest wd21 key around! -
there's been discussion before on Panhard drops many times in the past, advising another company now makes them is thanked, but not something new. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/33308-panhard-drop-bracket/?hl=panhard http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/31571-how-to-install-a-ak9849cy-panhard-drop-down-bracket/ (discussion on ak9849cy/GrandpaX's and install instructions) Looks like Krypton Fab makes one for r50s http://www.krfabs.com/product_detail.php?productID=2 I thought Steeevo/Rugged Rocks had one too, but I am probably thinking of someone else (wouldn't be the first time I was incorrect)

Then get tons I calls low balling the price and wanting to trade for a jet ski with no title or trailer and a 1/2 eaten bag of generic Lucky Charms!

Pulled the donor engine out of ToolShed, it's on a stand now for a time consuming refresh before goeing between WhiteOwls fenders

Quick thought the rumble strip comment gave me, how are your front shocks/bushings? I just went through hunting a vibration on the Blazer that ended up being a shock bushing...
-
Must resist easy target... I'm a fan of the factory bump stops, but I just like the way they look You hit them your either doing somethign you REALLY shouldn't be or having WAY too much fun!

everything in your front suspension snug and lubed? (TREs, Wheel Bearings, BJs, etc...). Alignment good? (i've seen/experienced some out of schwack alignments make front ends shaky and all kinds of wHeird pulling when locked in) I know you said universals were replaced, you sure they are still good? New don't always mean good and new stuff fails just like old.

Rear Tire Carrier....is there a weight limit?
nunya replied to 96Pathfinder4x4's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I would think about the same as adding one to a non-carrier wd21 (which DOES require effort) but probaly easier to get/make a rear bumper with one integrated or if you have a receiver style hitch and don't use it get one of those setups that uses that. -
I'm thinking he has a stick and is just trying to catch it in gear. R50s have the "interlock" switch? I don't know if it's in my head but I can only get mine to catch if I click it over.

I had 2 or 2.5" BJ spacers in the 4runner, never had an issue (and could leave the torsion bars relaxed and had a pretty level height to the Land Cruiser coils). Never had an issue (and still gotta try selling them on yotatech or something). Now the Blazer I had 1" ones in and a BJ flip (they are normally mounted through the top of the uca) and within 2 weeks they destroyed the ucas... Though I can't confirm they wernt already hiding some weakness and the spacers just sped up the process of showing the weak link Pulled WhiteOwl out of the yard, back to driving him! Hopefully I can find a fuel doner... I really don't wanna pay for gas

I have "dipped" 2 sets of wheels for my (wife's) blazer, my moms other sons ranger, and a bunch of small misc. trim and random stuff. Achieved what I wanted and holds decent (as said, make sure you put some good coats on). Plasti-dip is this years bedliner (which reminds me, I have bedliner to re-do)

Rear Tire Carrier....is there a weight limit?
nunya replied to 96Pathfinder4x4's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I'm not sure on a r50's factory carrier but many people on here with wd21s run full size/oversize spares on many different wheels of varying size/weight/etc. plus mount other things to their carriers as well. Not having a r50 to pop interior panels off and peek I can only assume it would be a similar bracing setup (if not a little more robust due to maybe needing a little more r50s being unibody and relying more on actual shell strength) so I can only assume it would hold just as well as wd21 carriers do. -
Lots of downhill driving... I think I get horrible mileage (I haven't tried to calculate it for years now, though I have contradicting stuff going on so it probably ain't AS bad as my mind tells me it probably is) but I have no current reason to care
