  1. "I'll call you back, I'm driving through a tunnel" Me on a land line (thoug I'm sure I'm not the first to use it) Or calling someone on their landline and asking them where they are at And I'm sure the "can't fix stupid" thing was well before Ron White as well, I know I used to have a shirt with the phrase on it before him and the other "rednecks" were a prescence.
  2. If it moves, spray it! How are you door pin/bushings? Any play in them? Door line up good still? I've seen that 'black track thing' (which is what holds the door from swinging back at you when open) start to freeze on many cars (mostly mid/late 90s Subarus honestly)
  3. Cross threads are better than no threads
  4. I should start taking pictures... Of course I should probably make it easier and have someone else with me to take them too...
  5. I've noticed photobucket for some reason decided to add a bunc I crap on the IMG codes you have to delete before posting
  6. I think the aerosol was dupli-color brand fwiw too... The can was blue (just painted the boat numbers with what was left in the can. Didn't read the can, just remember it being blue)
  7. I've brushed on "Herculiner" brand stuff, shorts and skidding off the seat of our old 4runner would equal rubbing the back of your legs against the rocker and a reminder to not be lazy next time but it was definatly not "soft". Side note, I've also used aerosol with less texture but still hardened fine
  8. I got some thicker stuff actually, I just don't know what all gauge and what lengths...
  9. And you know I would never purposefully hurt my west coast (much) older brother to another mother
  10. Because I store most of my excess at work :shh: Showing off is part of the fun!
  11. Old schwimmwagens rock! It's a smaller german DUKW! We know what my time comment was meant primarily but in honesty, that's a highly needed factor that you have covered. Gathering supplies (which also requires money) and blue printing are time consuming. The fact this is one of your 'spare' vechiles means it ain't relied on for daily or even occasional use currently so there's no need to half-fast it, a large plus. End result your either gonna have one cool multi use little buggy or be helping someone push it on a trailer to Pittsburgh
  12. Coul always make it into a little boat... Bet I can find a way to mount an outboard to it
  13. Worked on "my new" boat, suffered having to spend the evening at the wife's sisters house... Then finally got to come home and fire up the PS3 and some good Ol GTA Online
  14. that or the mods just didn't get to it yet nothing against the real members who posted here, you did nothing wrong but I shall be turning the key on this one
  15. Banned for havig a username that I keep reading as "Starburst" taste the rainbow!
  16. B gave a good list, I'll have to agree there (great minds think alike or fools seldom differ?) I'm not for thievery but pocketing some fuses/relays/etc ain't that big of a worry when your buying bigger things (I tend to make it obvious I AINT bagging things people usually pilfer). I tend to hoard parts and have room to keep it so I say there's no point in stopping! And there's worse things to be addicted to, hell me and the boss can spend a good part of a day mozying through a pick a part with no list of wanted parts.. Just rooting you would worry about the fuse numbering font
  17. Snake oil, good for taking money from advanced auto impulse buyers. T does make a fun smoke show for a little bit sucked in through a vac. line, but I've seen a few engines start blowing blue smoke as a permanent reaction to people adding it to the oil. Didn't MrJim put a death blow on his smoker adding 'additives' to it? (Not calling you out Jim, just remember something along that line happening and being part of why it was parked)

    Shanghaied!

negative, but not the time nor the place for me to dig stuff back up
  19. Strong tailwind GPM here... Not mpg. Probably on par with the big block in my flatbed
  20. You'd be suprised the number of cars I see with the seatbelts wrapped behind the seat and buckled in
  21. I've yanked many seized 4.3s (hell MY blazer is on its 3rd engine [previous owners]) I've also kept many of them running strong. Everyone is going to have their own story on an engine as common as them. Now an engine I have never seen blown up? Ford 4.9 I6... It will bog rolling downhill, foot to the wood, dump the clutch in first but it will keep on (slowly) humming
  22. I have a spare frame and shell...
  23. Having issues with the rugged rocks site? PM Steeevo on here, he'll help you out (it's his site/company). And "e" powered trucks compared to "I" powered trucks share the same frame so whoever said chassis difference was just covering their own azz by basicly saying they are "only designed for configuration, not y z or 73 (kinda like Performance Accessories saying their bodylift won't work in an auto truck where they are perfectly fine). And your truck should technically have a 1-1.5 (I forget off hand) bodylift from the factory. Hate them, you have one! Point and laugh everyone! (Kidding, but you do have a small factory one compared to a wd21 which the body lays RIGHT on the frame, one of the reasons body lifted wd21 people scavenge for some of the d21 pieces)
  24. I set mine by vacuum last time I had the distributor out... I don't think I ever had a timing light on my truck
