  1. I have a friend who re-built an old cab over day-cab into a flatbed and he has LED headlights (high and low beam, it has seperate units for each). Last time I talked to him his excitement for them has disappeared and he said he's happy he bairly drives in the dark anymore (he moves cars for one shop, period. Like a semi-retired thing), just paid too much for them to shelf them. Properly aimed the beam, while bright sucks apparently. Of course he is basically sitting on top of the headlights and they are a little further apart than a wd21
  2. I understand it's a race, their a little hard on the land at times... Crum bums in the 1gen 4Runner are good entertainment, dude with the sweet sweet IROC mullet reminds me of the GM parts delevery guy here (cool dude, same attitude), main reason I watch? 3.slow L 2nd gen 4Runner. The whole time I watch I'm mumbling "come on head gaskets, your gonna pop any second now!"
  3. Mine moved like a brand new part with no heat or lube soak when I did mine. Sometimes my luck is good
  4. Most forums figure wd21=wd21, and while a lot of similarities there are also many differences. That's one of many things that help us stand apart from other Nissan forums. Reading through te 2 different sections a little would help you answer your own question
  5. What a tender subject...
  6. New parts fail sometimes as well, double check the alty is working correctly and check all connections
  7. 4 doors DO have 2 door envy, that's why they have front seat bracketry/mechanisims and hide their rear handles!
  8. I honestly love the fact my hatch black plastic strip is shaved off completely. I wenr out and fired him up for a couple minutes when I got home from work.
  9. R50s dont have an interlock swith like wd21?
  10. Why not? I already used all your E! (Sadly the E stands for Ensure in your case)
  11. Not fair, pointin and laughing at B calling him old is moot point, we've know. That for more years than I can count!
  12. The only manual I ever had to have rebuilt (was a KA powered HB 4x4) started with 4th gear. Dude that rebuilt it had some elaborate explanation as to why 4th was the initial issue, but I was a know it all kid at the time and never listened assuming he was just trying to oversell what he did.
  13. Check for front suspension wear as well, including at the compression rod bushings on the lower control arms.
  14. A quick re-pump lets you slide in easy? Have you bled the system recently? Could have a master or slave cylinder sucking a little air (I've had a couple masters fail over the years and actually had a bleeder fail in a slave once)
  15. Jeep Grand Cherokee center console swap
  16. The bolt you can see per side on the actual frame rail, above it in the inner fender there is a cutout about the size of a socket, you can see the other bolt there
  17. This one? (Which actually started in 93, and the answer goes for any other HB grill factory or aftermarket [following aftermarket instructions]) Yep, make sure to get te headlight buckets (will bolt right onto your rad support) and headlight bulb pigtails as well (obviously a different plug). I suggest Hardbody corner market lights as well for athestitics purposes
  18. This! Hindsight is 20/20 and a little humility may help someone else in the future who didn't think to look take the time and save from the same headache
  19. theres a write up on the Xterra rack mod (and I'm sure people will chime in and just put their pictures of them mounted on their trucks), cutting down the front legs is necessary. OP, besides looking like it may need some support in the center (which you said you planned) looks like it could become quite useful
  20. You don't by chance have the part number for the correct ECU and he one you used that works? As stated we don't know they all interchange but can now confirm at least ONE combination. As I once dabbled in the DSM world (that car was a cluster when I got it), I know he importance of having working ECM options
  21. I'm with Adam, your timing is still off as a starting base. Get er back on track there and let us know if you have any improvement. (Last time I set my timing I did it by vaccum because I was too lazy to take ten steps to get my timing light so I don't even know off hand what WhiteOwl is set at )
  22. As long as you armor all the every other day. Short term, some silicone based products are great for just that short term. Only lasting affect I've ever had was the good Ol krylon touch
