  1. The high CO2 at idle is from a vacuum leak or EGR valve stuck open from carbon clogging or internal rust on the shaft inside the valve. I would check/replace all the vacuum hoses in the engine bay. Bulk hose at any auto parts store is cheap. The high CO2 means the fuel and air ratio is off at idle and you are having incomplete combustion or burning of the air/fuel mixture.
  2. Yeah, it is to assist lowering the tilt steering with some weight.
  3. I would look at the thermostat as well.
  4. Were the Brake pad hardware (shims) replaced as well?
  5. If it is only the driver side window doing this I would look at the driver window power amplifier. It is one of two modules, a white rectangular box about 1x1x4 inches located behind the passenger side kick plate.
  6. Unfortunately the roof rack and components including these bolts for the WD21 (I see you state you have a 1987) were only sold as part of the roof rack kit, which is no longer available from Nissan. I would match them up at a local hardware store as suggested.
  7. Eaxctly wat I was thinking, you need to do an amplifier bypass.
  8. with the HC and NO so far out of spec you have a dead cat. When the vehicle is good and warmed up I would bet there is no water coming out of the tailpipe either, another sign of a dead cat. When doing your emissions test have only 87 octane gas in the fuel tank, no injector cleaner or other stuff. Run the vehicle at sustained highways speed to get it up to normal operating temp before taking in ot be checked. Make sure your ignition timing is correct. If it is off you will have too much NO or HC depending on how far off you are. If you have an automatic make sure to check in withthe vehicle in neutral not park. Make sure also you O2 sensor and engine temperature sensor are in good working order.
  9. Part Number: 21010-12G28 Description: PUMP ASSY-WATER $78.59 (LIST $109.51)
  10. Poll any experienced tech in our shop and they will agree....if there is a leaking camshaft seal it will be the right side seal.
  11. Bushings I can do at 1.53 each, the pins for them at 2.46 each
  12. Please dont mix and match injectors. Each one is a slightly different spray pattern, lenght of time it stays open and most importantly Ohms. Mixing them will confuse the ECU and make the vehicle very run poorly....guaranteed. I would be extremely leary of junk yard injectors. No telling how long they have been sitting up, how well maintained the vehicle was of if they were functioning properly beforehand. I am a big junkyard hunting fool, but a critical part like that doesnt seem worth it. The $40 ones from RA are remanufactured. I know some people on here will say they have used them with no problem, my experience has been that they do not last long.
  13. It was indeed called Diversity Antennea. It is to help boost reception of AM stations.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. Ground to the radio.
  15. I have seen a pathfinder with lambo doors before, I am sure somewhere there is a pathfider with a huge ass spoiler wing on the back of it.
  16. OBD-II can be just the opposite of OBD-I, too much information. It will register cascading failures and lead you to believe (or be told...) that you need to replace 6 different things when there is actually one failure causing the other 5.
  17. I am thinkig the same thing Precise is thinking.
  18. I concour times 10. The carrier can hold the weight....it can hold a lot of weight! Only thing you might come up against is if you have a spare tire cover, it will not fit, there were two different sizes used, for the 31s and the 215s
  19. I am thinking the odomoter may be dead then. There is one trick I have seen before on older GM meters when they get old, try this one yours, hit the trip reset a few times while driving, it may be slightly hung up and reseting it may free the gears.
  20. Yes, Please dont mix and match injectors. Each one is a slightly different spray pattern, lenght of time it stays opena nd most importantly Ohms. Mixing them will confuse the ECU and make the vehicel run poorly. As to the color dot, it is a paint mark, some are perfect dots onthe top some look more like smudges. The picture above is a perfect example of a nice color dot and its location. As to the problem you were having, I have seen that several times the lower o-ring getting bound up when installing. The twist slightly as you install is the correct proceedure to install the injoectors.
  21. The break is at 07/93, they are two different part numbers for before and after that date, as the speed senors are different and thus the pinions are shaped different.
  22. Rubber seal under the leather boot for the transfer control lever cracked? Water from the road splashing up could get in that way.
  23. Without being there, seeing the issues, etc I say they are blowing smoke. I would suspect that becasue this warranty is so old now and so rarely done that some dealers may not want to mess with it for fear of the warranty claim being rejected by Nissan. They are just rying to cover all their bases. I would call 1-800-NISSAN1 and explain your situation to them. Not retracting is unsafe and can cause the belts to fail in a crash. Calling this number may fix the issue with your dealer. Alternately, try another dealer.
  24. Most of the decals are long discontinued and no longer available. When we can still get them, we can get a left and not a right side or some combo thereof. The stripe kits on the WD21 were classified as accessories and Nissan does not like to keep them areound after production of the applicable model ends. You local dealer will problably not even be able to find what the part numbers were, they wont show in the regular parts catalogue they are listed on an old Nissan TSB. If you can PM me the VIN and the color of your stripes I may be able to figure it out and check availabilty for you.
