Yes the front bumper brackets that the attachment points go to are different 1987-1993 and 94-95. I know you can make a pre face lift fit a post, but not sure the other way around, having never done it. Looking at the design of the bumper brackets, it would require some engineering.....

Handling them constantly I can tell you for a fact that these type parts, timing belts in particular, are not very old at all. They are still in production. They even go on back order from time to time while they make a new batch. Any hose, belt, timing belt, etc rubber part that we get in from our regonal Nissan PDC (Parts Distribution Center) is usually about 3 months old at most, sometimes only a month old. If you look on the grey/white Nissan parts tags with the scan bars it usually has the production date stamped on it. I will see about taking some pics tomorrow and posting them to show.

From 1979-2004 the Nissan 4WD design and set up did not change much. The 720, WD21, D21, D21U, WD22, D22U and R50 all use the same basic 4WD design.....I dont see why the Terrano would be different....

fluids burning off....very possible! I would check all your connections starting with the TPS as noted above. Check all the vacuum lines as well.

Yep.........steering angle sensor (aka clock spring) not a cheap part either... should be part number: 25554-0P025 I can get if for you for $433.40 (nissan list: $481.56) I see you are in Roanoke, I am in McKinney. If you want to give me a call tomorrow I can check your VIN and see what part it does use and see what I can do for you.

As dumb as it may sound.... make sure the fuse in the block is making connection. pull the fuse and look up in the slot on the bloack. make sure the metal slots the blade goes into are not spread out too wide. I have seen this before.....

I am also thinking the strut mounts are not oriented correctly...... bad bearings usually give you a rattleing noise going over bumps...the loose feel mentioned is more of a loose/improperly mounted strut mount.

If the passenger side works and drivers does not: 1) You may still have a bad power window amplifier. It is a white box abot 1x1x3 located behind the passenger side kick panel. Listen for a relay opening and closing behind this kick panel when you press the button for the driver side window. You should hear it click. 2) I would swap the main switch with a known good switch. If nothing changes test the motor on the drivers side as noted above. 3) You may also have a bad connection from the drivers door harness to the main harness in the dash. These harnesses come together underneath the carpet beneath the plastic 'dumb pedal' in the carpet where your left foot would rest. The hardness has been stepped on over and over for years...... 4) check both body grounds behind each of the kickpanels on the left and right side. your basic power flow is: main switch-> amplifier -> back out to main and the other three switches-> and to the four motors. ie if you disconnect the amplifier module nothing will work.

The replacements they have now are made out of nylon instead or plastic. there are only two different sizes, green (as mentioned above) and the clear one.

I have been doing this a long time...... I get this problem herea about once a week for brake lights or ASCD.....seems after 10-12 years or so the stoppers implode from wear and tear. Sometimes we get lucky and its a simple thing causeing the problem! FYI the nissan part number you need is: 46512-H0101 RUBBER-STOPPER

I would check to see if the ASCD cancel switch and Brake Pedal switch are working properly and that both of the rubber stoppers for pins on these two switches are intack on the pedals. The stoppers are know to deteriorate when the vehicels reach 10-12 years and shatter leaving the switches in the open position. The actual cruise control solenoid runs on a vacuum. Check the hoses on it and that the linkage running from the servo to the throttle body is still connected. Check your harness connectors to the servo in the engine bay as well for damage and poor connectivity.

That one would be the better of the ones out there offered, but it is expensive too, however this one is only good at a nissan dealership and again like any other one, read the fine print as to what is and isnt covered. Make sure to look at what it will cost to just add it in after the warranty runs out as well and do the matth verses purchasing it up front.

I have put these one two different Pathys and one Hardbody and I recommend them. On my gold pathy that got killed it had been on it for 5 years and didnt have any emissions problems and the price is definately right, especially compared to the stock cat which will make you cry. In each vehicle there was a small put noticable feel on the responsiness to the throttle at idle and....from stop lights.... Not a huge gain, but there from having a more efficient flow.

Be careful on the 'extended warranty'. There is really no such thing as an 'extended warraty' Rememeber that warranties are provided by the original manufacturer. What is usually sold as 'extended warranties' are in fact service or insurance policies from a thrid party provider. On a new vehicle there is no point. You have a warranty when you purchase the original vehicle which lasts for 3+ years and 30+ miles or more depending on the manufacturer. Why purchase up front a policy and pay the interest and finance charges and increase your monthy payments on the vehicle when you can go get the same policy when the manufacturer warranty runs out? That assuming you even keep the vehicle after the warranty runs out. As pointed out above, some do not cover everything, all of them have 'co-pays' that can vary based on the policy. In addition, even if the work is done at a dealer, the policy provider wants the cheapest part put on, so it will not always be a dealer part....it can even be a salvage yard part!!!! Yes, that is correct. Salvage parts.

ok good. sometimes the senors can be damaged with a tire rotation...

Mr510 and I are thinking the same thing........restriction or backwards flow plumbing error. I have also seen some HD aftermarket coolers with a direction of flow to them.
