Ive been drying it for about a week now and the battery was also disconnected and sitting on the bench also.I had the battery fully charged at my local battery shop coz it was completely drained when I got my pathy back I used almost a can of electronic cleaner then I dried it off real good and every other day I would give it a few shots of air. Im hoping that it works. Im also going to shoot some electronic cleaner on the plug.I just noticed this morning when i looked inside where the pins goes in ,theres some dried up mud on there so just in case its fried I can use any ecu from 90-95 with auto trans,4x4 mpfi and stay away from maxima ecu's? I appreciate you guys help. I was going to give up on the pathy and get a xterra but with all your help I think I can get her back and running again :beer:

Hey guys what should I be looking for in buying an ecu for my 93 pathfinder? does it have to have the same numbers or can I use one off of 90-95 as long as its for auto? My ECU was just drenched when I pulled it out last week and its been drying in the basement since then. I pulled the top lid off and dried it with an blowgun. It doesnt have any burnt smell to it . Can I still use it after its been soaked in water inside and dried off? Im going to try to fire up my pathy maybe tomorrow or monday soon as I get the ignition switch installed and shift lock cable..with the ECU being soaked like that could it have damaged any other sensor or electrical components? I wish theres a hoodscoop available for our pathys..a small one though that can be mounted just above where the cone filter sits.I wouldnt mind cutting up my hood as long as I get a scoop thatll look factory on there and can be mounted with bolts from underneath and not one of those fake scoops that just sticks on I think ive seen a terrano before on here that has that

man what a big difference on how it drives now bud without the auto hubs engaged...hahaha..I dont do any freeway driving and the fastest I go is probably 40. Im going to check the shifter linkage come monday ...ill keep you guys posted ..Thanks fellas :beer:

ill be installing a manual locking hubs tomorrow and would it be safe to drive it with the hubs unlocked till i get a day off to fiddle with it? Ill check for those things you mentioned bud and will keep you guys posted

im going to try shifting it while driving tomorrow and if it doesnt shift ill take it to a tranny shop and see if they can adjust the linkage or see whats going on with it..thanks guys

I feel so stupid right now..Im in 4H all this time and just found out today at the emissions place. The tcase @!*%er wont shift up anymore and its almost hitting the bottom of the radio bezel..could the tcase be bad that it wont shift back to 2h anymore...im pushing as hard as i could with the transmission in neutral and wont push up anymore. when I bought the truck i didnt even bother to check the tcase...took it for a spin and it ran fine except for the exhaust manifold leak that is now fixed

speaking of which my hardbody has 2H and 4L but no 4H..could it be a bad t-case guys? oh and no lights on the dash either..might be a bad bulb . I tried shifting on 4H and the truck wont move..its like its in neutral

Been trying to locate where the end of my auto shifter cable goes to.. Its the cable on the right hand side (pasenger side) of the shifter.just found out today that it was just tucked under the dash and my shifter shifts even without depressing the brake pedals..It was probably yanked by the thief who stole my truck... Any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys

I tried to put sparco on mine and it didnt work..too wide...You wont be able to close your doors ..It would probably work if you take the center console armrest out. The problem I ran into is the left side of the seat is hitting the armrest and if i move it towards the door to clear the armrest it hits the door handle. I was told that a 2004-2008 subaru wrx seat would work and those I believe are sparcos
