As far as I know you can swap out the gauges through years 97 98 and 99. 2000 will work it's just the warning lights are in different places than the years before. I know this because I used a 2000 instrument cluster to put in my 98 Pathfinder and when I went to set the cruise control I think the ABS light lit up or something I can't remember but it was in a total different place. It's really easy just to swap out the gauges by themselves the tack has 4 screws on the back the fuel gauge I think has three and the temperature gauge has three. The speedometer is a different story you actually have to plug it in with a connector and it's hard as hell because you have no slack with the wiring harness. I just got done switching my fuel gauge and my temperature gauge with white face gauges out of a 2000 model. Super easy. So as far as all the grounds to body please point me in the right direction. I cleaned the ground on the alternator from the battery and around the fuse box pass side under hood. I just need help on which ones to look for. I know its a dumb question. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

Like RCWD21 said factory tool kits come with a tool to remove #6 plug. I didn't like the factory tool whatsoever so I found another way to conquer #6. Congratulations on the yoga and the removal of PITA #6! Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

Hey guys question here about the trouble I'm having with my Quey. The guy I purchased it from had washed the motor a few months before I got it. He told me it had a miss, but I didn't care cause I was using it as a parts car for my 98 R50. Well I decided to keep it and drive it and cannot for the life of me figure out the problem I'm having. I got rid of the p0300 cel and p0150. After putting in the O2 sensor it was still missing. It threw a code p0304 fixed that. Then it threw the code p0303. Fixed that. It's still missing and just waiting for it to throw the next cel which i know its coming. Also while it's running/missing the lights flicker like crazy, bright dim, bright dim. Anyway I'm beginning to think out of everything I've replaced, distributor, plugs, wires, Injectors,mass flow sensor, O2 sensors, misc hoses, charcoal canister, gaskets for IACV, upper plenum, egr valve,throttle body and whatever else I can't think of its got to be an electrical problem. Can someone please help me out? Maybe the guy fried something from washing the motor. Come on NPORA MEMBERS HELP A BROTHER OUT TO SOLVE MY ISSUE. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

I don't think I've driven it enough for it to throw the code but there's definitely a miss so I'm thinking that after I changed my plugs I drove it a few times and maybe it messed those up. I changed the injectors which was probably my problem to start with but now since I drove it before I change the injectors with those new plugs maybe it messed up those plugs. Hey guys I've had the code P0300 for a while now. Replaced plugs and wires etc... I think a couple of my injectors were bad. I had to replace valve cover gaskets so while I had the upper plenum off decided to change injectors as well. Do i need to change the plugs again even though I changed them prior to replacing injectors? I pulled all the plugs out and there all white. Tried cleaning them but didn't help. So my question is this. I drove a few times on my new plugs before I changed the injectors and I'm thinking where it was running lean it might have screwed my plugs up. Should I change them??? Yes you just squeeze both sides and they pull out. I don't think you have a pump problem it seems more like a clogging problem. I would pull the hoses off blow through and maybe even blow some air through and just try to clean everything real good if you hear your pump then your pump is working fine I'm sure. Good luck. When I first got my pathfinder my washer pumps didn't work at all. All fuses were good I ended up having to change the washer amp. Mine was bad. The washer amp I believe that's what it's called controls your wiper delay. Any way thought I'd share. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

Don't know much about the 4wd system. I replaced the passenger side axle. After replacing I turned the pass side tire and the drivers side turns also. Is this normal or did I install the axle wrong?? Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

Thanks for the lesson. I'm a shade tree mechanic with little knowledge not so much about spark knock. Have no clue what your talking about. All I know is my Pathy runs better with a higher octane. I know what a valve rattling sounds like and that's exactly what mine does between 1000 to 2000 RPMs. Not so much with a higher octane. Call me crazy but I know my R50 better than you do. My 98 Pathy has a rattle up to about 1600 ram's and goes away. It's my valves no doubt about it. I use 87 octane majority of the time but on occasions I will use 93. When I use 93 little to no rattles at all. Hope this helps. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

When in gear it should idle at 700 to 750. You might what to check your TPS (throttle position sensor). Is it set right? So do you put it in park while sitting at red lights and also whenever you come out to start it in the mornings what are the RPMs after it warms up while it's still in park?
