  1. The check engine light came on, ran the codes. Got a p1441 Vacuum cut valve. Before the check engine light I noticed I would smell gas after stopping the vehicle and getting out it was a very faint smell of gas. Looked online and a vacuum cut valve was about 50 bucks that was the cheap one. Called the local auto parts stores their prices for a vacuum cut valve 90 bucks. That's ridiculous in my book. It's a little piece of plastic that has 4 hoses connected to it. Went to my local Pull A Part got one for five bucks. I bought 2. I got one off an Xterra and another one off of an 02 QX4 just in case I broke one installing it. No more check engine light and no more gas smell. Another job completed:)[emoji819] Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  2. The lights come apart and maybe you can paint the inside black. Just the black strip your talking about. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  3. I'm pretty sure the marker lights will work up until 2000 models anything after that no they won't. I'm not a 100% sure Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  4. They should fit perfectly. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  5. I'm pretty sure they would. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  6. Installed heated seat switches from a 2004 Maxima and put L.E.D lights in them. Newer models came factory with indicator. Why Nissan didn't put indicator lights in their heated seat switches is beyond me. There's a light that tells you it's on, and in no way does that help to find it at night CRAZY! Even though I know where they are at nighttime it's hard to to find the switch to turn it on. I I fixed that problem. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  7. Rust free and she turned 20 this year. 244 thousand on the odometer. Almost done with her. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  8. The mud look doesn't look half bad.[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  9. I didn't have to replace the bearing, just electrical components. No shavings presents and it turned real smooth. 1st remove dust cover (2 screws) 2nd The way I got the silver disc out was this. I took a pair of channel locks with a rag wrapped around the gear held the gear tight, took a phillips screwdriver to break the center screw loose. As far as the electrical using flat headed screwdriver remove 4 screws for the cam sensor and coil. Be careful with the seal. I used a flat head screwdriver on everything but the center with the silver disc I used a Phillips head. If replacing the bearing I'm assuming it would have to be pressed out and then the new one pressed in hope this helps. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  10. I bet in all I bought 5 different sets of plugs and wires. I'm a pro replacing the dreaded 6 plug. Every time I removed the plug wires I would either rip the insides out or pull the insides out. Even using grease those suckers are hard to remove. Thank the good Lord it's over with. Until next time. CHEERS! Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  11. Nissan is very proud of their distributors that's for sure. Now I know why I couldn't get it in time. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks brother. I had read in more than one place on the web that these things hate aftermarket distributors. I was like baloney! Boy was I wrong. Lol Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  13. Great news guys, no more P0300! After replacing everything known to man on this problem, here is my conclusion and the solution. Whatever you do don't ever buy an aftermarket distributor for the 3.3L it will not work I promise you. I ended up getting one from Advanced for $230 which was a waste of money and since I've used it I cannot take it back. So what I did was used the parts inside and rebuilt my original distributor which in reality was good the problem was my fuel injectors. She purrs like a kitten now. I'm almost done. I found this wheel and tire at my local pull a part. Now all I need is 3 more. I also took the headlights out of a 2000 model and they fit perfectly. All I had to do was a little bit of wiring.[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  14. I also added the wood grain accents throughout. The door panels I had to upgrade to a newer Pathy and rewire the driver and pass window switches along with changing the middle part of the door panels to make everything work. This R50 was a factory XE that I upgraded a few thing's on it to my liking. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  15. I got the seats from a 01 Pathy in great shape, just have them covered to protect them. The steering wheel I got from a 2000 Pathy. Same thing with the wheel. Have it covered to protect its condition. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  16. 98 R50 XE Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  17. Cleaning my fuel rail hoping after I install the injectors along with the fuel rail being cleaned it will fix my problems Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  18. Nevermind stupid question. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  19. I installed a dual USB charging pod that has a voltmeter reading in the middle of it. Have no clue about the oil pressure gauge. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  20. Go to your local pull a part or junk yard. You should be able to get one off of a Pathfinder or probably off of any Nissan vehicle that's close to your year I'm sure all of them probably used those gromets. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  21. Great looking gal! I'm talking about the PATHY. LOL Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  22. Also when I say check the FSM MANUAL I'm not talking about your owners manual. Go to Google and type in Nissan factory service manuals you should be able to locate the website that way click on the year model of your Pathfinder and go from there it's all located in the EC section of the manuals Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  23. To check EGR valve function put your finger under it and Rev the engine. You should feel it rise up when engine RPMs are 2000. In your picture that could definitely be your problem. Looks like someone has messed with the wires for some reason. A wire could be frayed and not making 100% contact. Get your o2 sensor fixed 1st and see if that solves your issue. I have a 98 Pathy that has a slight miss @ idle, but no check engine light. I've checked everything known to man and the miss is so faint it's hardly noticeable. It's sounds to me you have a small vacuum leak somewhere. Like I said get that o2 fixed 1ST. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
