  7. I know there's a recall for the filler tube. I didn't know this till about a year ago that it's bad when you fill your car up and keep filling it up after it clicks trying to fill your tank to the max. The charcoal canister is part of the evap system. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  8. I figured that's what it was after the factory service procedure testing. I didn't see your post till now. Way to call it. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  9. Replaced distributor as soon as I got it home with one from a junkyard I picked up a few months ago. FIXED it.[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

  11. I done that on my 98 Pathfinder and it made the leak worse so it's a 50-50 gamble in my book personally I wouldn't tighten them up I would just replace the valve cover gaskets Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  12. 97 Quey. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

  14. Hey guys back again and still continuing to add stuff here and there. I didn't like the way the driver side window switch lit up, way too dim at night time. Making it really hard to see. Every time I'd roll the window down at night I would always hit the back passenger door switch on the drivers side. So to match every other switch I have in the vehicle I decided to install a red LED to brighten things up. Now I won't have a problem finding the switch. I also installed yellow fog lights but ended up taking them back out and installing some bigger ones. They really go good with the car in my opinion. I used a genuine Nissan relay for the wiring on the fog lights and made my own bracket so I could make it look as close to factory as possible. I also put a set of factory 17inch wheels on it. I guess I can say it's complete, but of course I'm never satisfied so I'm sure there will be more to come. Here's a list of the updates. Steering wheel from an i30, headlights from a 2000 Quey, taillights from a 03 Pathy, wheels from an 01 Quey, fixed antenna, replaced rear pass side quarter glass, distributor, plugs, wires, thermostat, ball joints, upper and lower control arms, shocks, stabilizer bushings front and back, stabilizer links front and back, fixed rusted out step rails with some from a 99 quey, installed factory hitch,LED lighting behind guages, shifter and in all switches, refurbished roof rails, marker lights, fog lights and blinker lights,3 layers of undercoating front to back, new exhaust from cats to back, exhaust heat shield pass side, o2 sensor upstream pass side, replaced vacuum cut bypass valve, purchased new key fobs and new throttle body boot. I don't think I left out anything. For a 20 year old vehicle it still turns heads and thats exactly what I wanted to do when I bought it. I acquired this 97 Quey on January 4th 2017. It's taken me eight months exactly to do what I wanted to do. I love my Nissans! Rock on Peeps![emoji13] Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  15. That I have no clue. I just know what it's function is. You can look in the FSM factory service manuals and that might be able to give you a better idea or a better clue on what it actually does and its function Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  16. The BPT controls the amount of vacuum to the EGR Valve according to exhaust pressure. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  17. Here lately very hot. Maybe it's normal. Haven't smelled gas the last few days. I replaced the vacuum cut bypass valve due to a CEL a month ago so who knows maybe that has something to do with it. I've checked my evaporated system for leaks and can't find a problem. 18. It's for HID headlights. It's just a dumby switch to fill space in my Pathy. I know they have the black inserts to fill space but I put L.E.D's in the switches so they look fuctional. Plus it confuses people. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  19. Did you ever Install them? Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  20. Really cool site. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

  23. The battery fuse link positive side corrodes is a common problem. Take it apart and clean real good. This is probably not your problem but it's always good to make sure everything has a good connection. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  24. This is a stupid question, but where exactly was my QX4 built? Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  25. Yep for sure one is a breather. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
