  1. 97 Quey. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  2. Still having some issues. Put a new distributor in and still having the random miss fire p0300 MIL code. Timing is off about 7 degrees. Can't turn distributor anymore to hit 10'degrees TDC. Is it possible the distributor is off a tooth?? And that's what's causing the miss it not being in PERFECT time. When the engine is cool like overnight or parked for a while. It runs great for the first 3 to 5 min. Then starts missing. Pulled plugs and their white. Running lean. HELP!!! Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  3. Just about finished with the Quey. I've got about a 1,000$ in her. Picked up a factory set of floor mats from a 99 Qx4 from my local pull a part. Can't believe I found a full set. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  4. Step rails completed. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  5. Update on the Qx4 guy's. It's had a miss in it since I got it. It runs great when the motor is cold, but once warm, It would miss, buck, stall and eventually die. Always though would start right back up. Now can't get it started at all. Its not got any fire. Getting fuel with no vacuum leaks that I can see. Rotor spins as well. Maybe bad distributor or camshaft sensor? Gonna replace the distributor and see were it takes me. TO BE CONTINUED...... Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  6. Appreciate it. J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  7. I added some Lucas fuel injector cleaner and cleaned the points on the Distributor cap. Fired it up and still getting P0300 code, but the P0325 code is gone. Still a slight miss, but nothing like before. Prob need to get new distributor. We will see what happens in the next few days.
  8. Does anybody know if it's possible to get multiple misfire code P0300 because of a bad battery? I tested the battery and it says to replace it. It still starts the car just wondering if it's possible for it to cause a P0300 code because of a bad battery?? J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  9. Cruise control buttons on steering wheel don't light up. Take seats out and clean tracks real good. Buy new starter. Clean throttle body. Or the idle air control valve could be sticking as well causing high idle. J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  10. Installed new shocks. Cheap o's, but new to say the least. J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  11. The guage package is not original to the Pathy. I installed it for my own enjoyment. The Pathy is an XE 2WD I upgraded the interior on it. J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  12. I replaced arm and all. The lower arm bolts we're stuck in the bushing where it meets the rear end on both sides the arms are beat all to hell man where I was trying to remove them. Not salvageable. J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  13. Death wobbles are no more! Tough job, but can be done with some busted knuckles and a few tears....[emoji25] In the end I'm happy as a dog with it's bone.[emoji251] [emoji491] J.Cox from Lenoir City, TN
  14. Picked up some tail lights off a 99 Pathfinder from my local Pull-A-Part I also got the wiring harnesses too. If you're thinking about updating your tail lights like this you also have to get the wiring harness. 96, 97, 98 and I think some 99 Pathfinders have the same wiring harness. Also in 99 is when they change them correct me if I'm wrong. The wiring harness is plug-and-play it will hook right up. Factory on the left and used one from 99 Pathy on the right. Factory harness on left used one from 99 model on right. The connector for the new harness and the factory are the same. Hope this will help someone if they decided to upgrade there tailights. I also sanded and painted the Wiper arms front and back. Sorry about the picture clarity. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks a lot! I've also got a 98 Pathy XE I flipped the script on. I spent a lot of time and money on it, but in the end well worth it.I PAID 500$ FOR IT AND PAINTED 2 SMALL ROOMS FOR MY BROTHER'S EX. THEY SPLIT UP A WEEK LATER BECAUSE OF IT. LOL!!!! Between my QX4 and Pathy I paid less than $2,000 for both. GOD BLESSED ME FOR SURE.They split up cause my brother didn't want her to get rid of it, he wanted it and she sold it me LOL LOL!! The first picture was a couple of weeks after I got it. Id already put the clean on it but as you can see no fog lights and of course the wheels. On the inside. I updated the door panels, steering wheel, seats, guages, switches, temp/compass console, Homelink sunvisors, fog light swith for factory operation on the column. Almost every part came from my local Pull-a-Part. On the outside, roof racks, light bar, tailights, painted/ undercoated everything and put a light bar on the roof. Now doing the same thing to my Quey. It will go a lot faster now that I know more about the R50's Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks! Will try and let you know. This is why I Iove this forum.
  17. Does anyone know how I can go about getting the rear lower control arm bolts out?? I got the bolt out of the one thats connected up under the frame, but the one thats connected to the rear end it won't budge. I got the nut off of it. It's like the bolt is rusted to the inside of the bushing.
  18. In LOVE with my R50's!

  22. Time to fix the death wobbles. Went ahead and thought might as well replace the shocks while I'm in the vicinity. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks a lot! I do it myself. I jack it up and put a jack stand on all 4 corners or jack up one corner at a time. Then I paint away. For anyone deciding to do this be sure to wear old clothes and a mask. And if it's windy that day go fly a kite and do it when there's little to no wind. Lol! Good luck!
