  1. I got the seats from a 01 Pathy in great shape, just have them covered to protect them. The steering wheel I got from a 2000 Pathy. Same thing with the wheel. Have it covered to protect its condition. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk

  4. Nevermind stupid question. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  5. I installed a dual USB charging pod that has a voltmeter reading in the middle of it. Have no clue about the oil pressure gauge. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  6. Go to your local pull a part or junk yard. You should be able to get one off of a Pathfinder or probably off of any Nissan vehicle that's close to your year I'm sure all of them probably used those gromets. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  7. Great looking gal! I'm talking about the PATHY. LOL Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  8. Also when I say check the FSM MANUAL I'm not talking about your owners manual. Go to Google and type in Nissan factory service manuals you should be able to locate the website that way click on the year model of your Pathfinder and go from there it's all located in the EC section of the manuals Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  9. To check EGR valve function put your finger under it and Rev the engine. You should feel it rise up when engine RPMs are 2000. In your picture that could definitely be your problem. Looks like someone has messed with the wires for some reason. A wire could be frayed and not making 100% contact. Get your o2 sensor fixed 1st and see if that solves your issue. I have a 98 Pathy that has a slight miss @ idle, but no check engine light. I've checked everything known to man and the miss is so faint it's hardly noticeable. It's sounds to me you have a small vacuum leak somewhere. Like I said get that o2 fixed 1ST. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  10. What symptoms are you experiencing? I'm having a bad misfire on my 97 Quey. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  11. Look in the FSM manual for the proper gap. I think it's 0.39-0.43. Check all your vacuum lines in and around the intake. Check your spark plug wires. Also get your o2 sensor issue fixed. It could be giving the computer false readings causing the motor to run lean resulting in the plugs fouling out. While the engine is running check to make sure your injectors are working using a mechanics stethoscope. You should hear each injector ticking. It's all in the EC section of the factory FSM manuals. 12. Could be a vacuum leak or spark plug not gapped properly Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  13. 97 all waxed up and then the rain came. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  14. How did you unhook it? Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  15. I change the valve cover gaskets about a year ago of course and I know you know this they were leaking terribly. When I hooked everything back up I totally forgot to hook the idle air control valve connector up and didn't realize it until about a week later it was running rough and of course me not knowing enough about the engine at the time took the plenum back off just to make sure everything was connected correctly and to make sure that I connected the idle air control valve. I did what you said and pushed my clutch in at a dead stop and turn my wheel left and right and it did rise up 50 to 200 RPMs. I've already set the fast idle cam by the FSM manuals and the marks that are located on it, but I'm not a Nissan mechanic I'm a shade tree mechanic so who knows if I got it right or not. Sometimes if the car sits overnight or if it sets while I'm at work when I come back out to start it sometimes it sounds like the son of a b**** is going to take off. And I'm guessing it's the sound of the fan but sometimes it doesn't do that sometimes it starts uo anf sounds normal. So maybe it's sticking how would I know if it's sticking that's my question? I can't remember what the little cylinder is called that brings the idle down. Maybe that's my problem. Thanks for the help so far. It's had this issue ever since I changed the valve cover gaskets. Anymore help would be greatly appreciated. I can send a video to show you what it does. It does it really bad when it's cold or when the motor is cold not so much when it's already warmed up. 21. Changed my trans fluid. Yep yep#R50rocks!!!!! Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  22. It's a weird issue. I've unplugged my tps and no change it still does it. I will definitely try what you said to do. Thanks a lot. Any information you can give me about the transmission would be greatly appreciated. I changed the tran fluid on Monday with MT-90 Red Line synthetic gear oil GL-4, and it shifts so smooth. I looked everywhere for this oil at my local auto parts stores and they didn't carry it, all they carried was GL-5 and of course the guy at the counter at every store said it would be okay to put that in my transmission but I knew better. I went by the FSM manual. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
  23. Hey guys I'm having a problem when coming to a stop I will press the clutch in and the idle will shoot up to 1700 to 2000 and doesn't come back down until I come to a complete stop. It's like a tiny man is pressing the throttle for me. I can literally let the car just drive itself I don't understand what's going on. It doesn't do this all the time but it does do it quite often especially when it's cold or when it's been sitting overnight other times the car is perfect no check engine lights for high idle or nothing. Is my idle air control valve sticking does it have something to do with the throttle body I know the throttle is cable driven and it's not sticking so I know that's not it but something is going on and to be quite honest with you I use more gas because like I said it's like somebody is pressing the gas for me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated guys I can also upload a video if need be to show exactly what my 98 Pathfinder is doing. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
