  1. The clear ones are on ebay as well, I've seen them for well under $20 before.
  2. Throwout bearing? Mine makes a kinda moaning/squealing sound from time to time when pushing the clutch, generally when partially loaded. But it only does it occassionally, and doesn't affect drivability. Matter of fact, its done it for over a year now, but again, only very rarely.
  3. Unless by locker, he means LSD. If that's the case, look for the little sticker on the diff or call Nissan with your VIN.
  4. Weird. Like 88Path says, some sort of short between the parking lights and brake lights, causing either to power the other when 1 is activated? But where? The only place you'd think these would be close to each other would be the tail lights and the fuse box.
  5. I also drove mine for almost a year before getting it fixed. I'm sure you run the risk of further warpage and breaking more studs, but I doubt it would hurt the engine.
  6. I've seen them really cheap on ebay, like $5 for used ones. The ones there now are new and in the $16 range, but you could keep checking back.
  7. Or get bigger bumpstops and longer shocks, and play hard.
  8. Road usage charge? Not here. How's that work? Like a toll or something? That's why we sit around b*tching about where our tax dollars are going, because the roads are supposed to be rolled into the bill. But then that's why they talk about the $500 toilet seats in the Pentagon. The $$$ is obviously going somewhere... BTW, we're looking at $2.23 for 87 at the cheapest AM/PM Arco here, maybe a tad cheaper at Costco (Kent, WA). Its getting worse really quick.
  9. I know word on Pacesetter isn't the greatest, but figured somebody still may be interested in this. Headers on Ebay
  10. Look at the "How to install an aftermarket stereo" topic near the top in The Garage.
  11. Um, why would they need resurfaced right after you bought it, let alone 4 times?! After once or twice, I'd think you'd be in fine standing to DEMAND all new parts at the very least.
  12. That dog doubles as a feather duster. :Magic:
  13. And there's the lovely exchange rate to switch from funny money to US dollars.
  14. No idea, but would it work if you tapped into say your 3rd brake light in the rear?
  15. Actually, it can happen if the plug is bad at the headlight. Mine did this for low beams but would work on high. A strange mini-short or something. It slowly melted and the light would flicker, work sometimes and not others. I checked the bulb, all the obvious stuff, then looked inside the plug itself and saw it going to hell, so I replaced the plug for like $3.
  16. My water pump was changed a couple months ago (off go the belts), and all was well. Then I had a squeak. It was the belt to the alternator. A slight adjustment and all is good.
  17. Yep. Its a bad intersection for sure, especially for being relatively new. The bridge blocks your view if your'e trying to turn from the exit coming uphill. Pulled out, then had to goose it a bit. Must've cost me a buck in gas.
  18. Didn't even pay attention to Costco. I was there Sat. but had just filled up Fri. night. By the way, was that you I pulled in front of on 108th at 277th? Don't remember if that was last night or the night before, but it looked like your Pathy.
  19. The cheapest 87 around here is in the $2.20 range and climbing fast. Cost me about $35 for 3/4 of a tank the other day. Got several couple hundred mile road trips coming up soon. Grrr...
  20. I've heard about that, and how an exhaust that's too open may actually cancel this out and harm performance. Anybody with the know how out there that could explain this, or know if there's anything to be done in our trucks?
  21. And some people don't see the big deal in their "harmless" dog running around the neighborhood until something goes wrong. Would the same hold true if a parent allows kid to run all over hell, and then the kid beats down another with a baseball bat or something. I know its extreme, but still. My mom is crushed right now over her baby sitting at the animal hospital.
  22. Sadly, my parent's 1 1/2 year old cat was mauled over the weekend in their own yard. She barely survived after my brother ran the dog off, but she may lose a leg. The dog was running free around the neighborhood, and cornered the cat in their back yard (no fence, but she doesn't leave the yard). So... just a friendly shot out as I climb on my soap box. If you have a dog, please be responsible with it. :help:
  23. Hmmm... are they hard to remove and check out? I imagine very. I only brought the idea of them taking a permanent vacation cause I remember reading that injector failure was a somewhat common issue on the older Pathy's.
  24. Dude, you oooze. Little Mule, do you know the brand/size/part #? I imagine they'd be the same fit as the 90+ Pathy's and I'm in need. Tired of smacking my head, but the local shops want like $40+ each!
  25. "Added security"?!? LOL Wrap the tape in bailing wire, and then coat it with some JB Weld, and you should be good to go. :Magic: -alcohol-
