Don't think I've ever seen this topic here. Has anyone ever compared Rancho shocks vs. Trailmasters? Local shops carry Trailmaster for a few bucks more than Rancho, but they have to order the Ranchos since they don't carry them in stock. I'm wondering if anyone would recommend 1 over the other.

That's sweet. So will it give you the angle you're sitting at any point, like on the trail? I wanna see some flex pics where you're like 50degrees off center. sly

There's some killer 3M tape that you could probably get anywhere. I've used it and its great. Its heavy duty, pretty much permanent, and made for automotive use. Sticks like hell for sure. Just be sure to clean the dash thoroughly to remove any armor-all or any of that type stuff so you get a really good stick.

What the (&^%U^%$?!? That's just wrong! Look at those bugs. No thanks. None of that around here. No bugs, snakes, nada. All we have is slugs.

I've updated, tried different brands of software, etc. Something is screwy with my machine I think, but I can't figure out what. Need to take it to the bro-in-law anyways. He's a freakin computer genius, time for some upgrades.

It was $2.26 the other day for 87octane. $35 for 3/4 of a tank. Greeeaaat. Washington, Oregon & California are highest in the nation. Guess that's the premium we pay to live in the best place. :secret:

Haven't seen a video. My pc at home refuses to play any sort of video at all. Even after dumping the player and starting over, etc. And at work, I have speakers.

Nice slushbox. Needs more ponies!

This article gives an interesting breakdown of gas prices by state, as well as some countries around the world. Ouch.

Gotta lose the lego wheels though, at least in my opinion. Those tires are beasts. How are they on noise? Have you tried them in the rain? Hmmm... I want!

Weren't 2 piece shafts on the older mid 80's/pre-Hardbody pickups? I may be wrong, but I thought they had them back then. Seems like a pretty silly thing to have though.

I love my manual, and its easier to squeeze out the little bit of performance our small engines have. Couldn't imagine being off road without it, not being able to choose what gear you want and STAY there.

Lepracaun juice. Antifreeze, check your radiator and hoses for leaks. And keep any animals away, the stuff will kill them.

Um, when did Colorado secede? Last I checked, it was still a state. If you're leaving, could you take Idaho with you. And maybe Texas...

How about grind it and wire wheel it till its shiny, then clear coat it. Bling for the man.

If its your water pump squealing, I'd think you'd find out really quick, as it would die. Mine squealed (more like shrieked) when it died a few months ago and only lasted a few miles of limping and praying.

I saw something once about how stations often only made something like 5 cents per gallon. Maybe it was more, but it was low and interesting to think about. Its the oil companies that are raking it in. And, for those of you not local to Western WA, there was a fire on a local pipeline the other day, so they had to shut down the area. Now they're saying it may have a nice little impact on prices and supply locally in the short term Fun!

I was just thinking that, but didn't want to say it. Used to work up there. Horrible. E Hill Kent is bad enough, but I won't even go up on S Hill anymore, period.

Chromo, this was already covered here. As a matter of fact, you even commented in the post.

TC's implied that they could get them with shipping. GI Joes carries Trailmaster's that fit, but they're more $$$. I dunno, I'm more focused on getting a steering stabilizer at this point anyways. I'm looking for *cheap* stuff at this point. We have bills, mortgage, GF's college tuition, and all the insanity of life for our household at this point.
-
Now THAT'S a good comparison pick. I'll now hide in shame over my 31's. BTW, would you say good shocks and such are a fairly easy find in the bone yard? None of the local shops carry Rancho's and such, but all gladly order them with some shipping. I need to go exploring.
-
Ah, with right hand drive, you have the steering components and such in the way of the filter then? That would make it hard, where in left drivers, its just a tad awkward. But, the added cooling and capacity make sense for everyone. Hadn't really thought of that. Hmmm...
-
There's plenty of room to get a filter in my 94. Lots more than other cars I've had. A tad odd in that you can't directly see it all, but easy enough.
-
Yep, and sometimes even full service manuals come up on ebay. I've heard that those cd ones aren't very good, but maybe they're a different kind than the one you're looking at.
-
I bet that could be. Those lights are tied in as well, or at least come on with the rest. Let everyone know what you find, who knows who may need the insight.
