  1. My dads family laughs when I say "I love my car". They call them tools nothing more, but man do I care for it.
  2. Oh my gawd.....better remember where everything goes. You might end up with 18 left over screws. Had that happen on another project of mine (only 6 screws), couldn't for the life of me find where they went.
  3. I run 3500 down the freeway, and get 21-22, with 31's. I would do a tune up. That will usually bump it up quite a bit. Now This post is for an aftermarket cruise control, right? I need one also.
  4. I ordered the parts from Rob, if you need them. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/18653-genuine-nissan-parts/?do=findComment&comment=315059
  5. Anyone else watch Doctor Who? If you do (what are your thoughts on the new doctor for the few moments we saw him).

Too much going on yesterday, I am hopeing to catch it on rerun this weekend.

Watched it off and on while cooking dinner, don't know. Is the series moving forward or will there be a time gap before the next series? Could cast someone else. I expected to not see who the new doc was, but if they did show him, I actually expected someone younger.

  6. Next time you go to the swimming pool, try a parking lot. I hear they are nice.
  7. Mine has a little line on the top of the engine that I moved one ball. My idle was very low and shook the car now its smooth.
  8. Just put LED festoon bulbs in my dome lights. The light is bright and fills the cabin very well. Yay for less power draw

Nice! I replaced all the interior lights with LED's even the visor vanity lights. Fuse bulbs. SuperBrightLEDS.com has great selection and hard to find sizes and styles.

I just put an LED bulb in my dome light too, very white !

I got a warm white panel for my dome light. Looks just like incandescent except much brighter.

  9. Wish I had snap ring tools but there is a spot for a flat head to pop it out and no slip channel locks(rubber wrapped) help put it back.
  10. That was quite a job(ended up cutting some stress relieve point as you lift the carpet). I'll have to see how it sounds on the road now.
  11. Well I picked up a small bottle of GL-4 fluid and am going to try the overfill. If it goes away ill drain the trans and refill it.
  12. Im am fairly positive it wasn't GL-5. I haven't opened it since I got it to check everything. I filled it to the level, then capped it and left it since its a manual.
  13. Is it bad to mix, I have no clue what I put in before but I could just drop 1.5-2qt's of another GL-4 oil.
  14. I fear it might be to late, but it has only been around for a small time and I rarely drive in fifth, so I might be in luck. Cant believe I haven't seen that before.
  15. I can only find the Lock-Right one. Is there a variety? I would prefer to have a choice in companies.
  16. Well I guess ill throw some oil in.
  17. Less maintenance, no clutch plates yup easier but is the lock-right ok for DD's.
  18. Nope, always let it dribbled out of the hole. Thats when I stop, always done that way, is a wrong?
  19. Sorry to bring this back out of the pit of forgotten posts. LSD swap or Lock-Right? Anyone seen a No-Slip model for our rig's? I still want to use it as a daily driver but need the traction that the stupid open diff won't provide.
  20. We ran down the road, and its hard to determine. My brother and I believe it is coming out of the tran's(loudest right by the stick). And it only happens in fifth. Fourth was just belts fixed that, cause it happened in every gear. So i think my fifth gear is going or the bearing holding it? Have no clue about transmission's's, but thats my thought?
  21. Ever heard of "Guaranteed to Pass" I used it an guess what it passed.
  22. I do have a hole in my muffler that has been getting bigger, maybe it has found the resonance point and whistles?
