  1. So I've decided to to bring my pain and agony to you guys, so you can have an easier time then I did. Now if it looks a tiny bit sloppy its because I had to rush this, as I will begone for over six months for the Army. So don't make fun of my awkward fast but effective work. Ready for the pics....Alrighty then Fist get yourself a Tire Rack from the junkyard. Then get the mounts, be it from the JY rig(old) or from Rob(new). Find the dimples under the rear door, this is where you have the mounts for the lock and rest positioned. Drill the holes till the bolt slides through the hole will minimal rubbing.
  2. Ummm, way to bring back the dead.
  3. ^ Would you say those are pretty strong. If I made my own, I would like if I could still utilize those mounts and some how mount or bolt to them for upper supports.
  4. ^ Its on ebay, order it. That is where you'll get it.
  5. Before this thread goes into the abyss, anyone wanna post a pic of the tires rack's location relative to the light housing? Just a pic from a 45 deg. angle, flat to the bottom, of the light please.
  6. Ive had the bottom done for a bit. Just want the sides done right.....Im a perfectionist when it comes to my rig. Just was curious before I messed around with it. Thanks guys, you know a guy with the template will pop up after ive done it.
  7. Anyone? I tried making it by holding it up but thats not going to work....ever. I want to be accurate and safe.
  8. Yes I can weld, I myself don't have the welder. But im proficient in most arch welders. Tig mostly but mig, stick and flux are close. If you can send those I would appreciate it.
  9. Im am looking for one of those handy dandy things for the corner marks. If anyone has it I would be forever grateful if you could send it or show me to a site.
  10. Parts car? Get the other pathy first, if thats the route you go. Then see what it needs and swap the parts. Then you could see the worst one to make up some money.
  11. ^ I'd like to see those when you get them. Been wanting to build one but have had so many ideas. Beefing for the winch and multi attach points(to frame). The rear is another problem, I want the tow hitch in the bumper and I have so many ideas.
  12. I had the same problem. I ended up just rewiring them.
  13. The guy didn't like to take suggestions or our answers. All we did was give him our thoughts, but oh lordy no, he know what was wrong. Its just a guessing game to whoever hits it right.
  14. Way to dig up a 2008 board. Ive never seen that vid, looks sweet. As for the light's I have no clue. Almost look like PROcomp, or IPF because of the white lens cover.
  15. Not hard to get it off with out cutting. just loosen the tension pulley thing, drop it around the fan. Then take of the front of the power steering pump, and pull the belt around everything. Took like 30 min, but can be done faster as im slow. Im thinking that, if I get a new ac compressor, ill rip the ac piping out and turn the pump into a air compressor. Ive seen it done and think it sounds cool.
  16. My AC compressor went bad before I got the truck, but it was still there. The pulley started to screech very loudly, and as I don't use the ac, I took the belt off. Now my engine is quiet again.
  17. Well decided to check this today. Some of you might remember a mouse problem I had, from last summer. Well it seems I found another nest in the far corner of the box. I got the nest out and was surprised that there was very little in it(mice might have move it). I can still smell mouse tho. I know their smell from both my rig's and if I smell it stronger. The hunt is on. I HATE them.
  18. The hard body is leaf sprung, as the site shows. Our pathfinders use coils, if you go take a look under the car. You will need to get the coils separate. The RC it is a deal with the uca's and shocks included for 339 vs. the from AC for ~400, IIRC, when you get shocks and UCA's. An yes sus. lifts are easy if your are good with tools.
  19. Im not sure about the r50's but the frame of the early path's love salt back there(rust). The vg model's are great engines, almost bullet proof. Trans and drive line should be fine.
  20. Wahoo military money. Its upgrade time

  21. What is the thing over the headlight? Almost looks like the mirrors for the 240's, but its missing one.
