seat mounts, as far as the front should all be the same from 87-95 ... no need to fabricate anything for the front ...
-
sounds like you already found your problem ... if the clutch fan isn't positively egaging, you will definately have problems with the temp rising ...

Try this for your exhaust ... Rock Auto

where did you get your supercharger from and what possible engine sources can we expect to get ours from?

I believe you mean the MPFI's ... our vg30i's are injected too, only throttle body though ... you prolly knew that ... just clarifying for anybody else who may be tuning in. My guess is the current "kit" he has is not adaptable to the 'E' class motors ... the intake plenums are entirely different on them ... I think in your guy's case, it would be easier to adapt a centrifugal type super charger, like the Powerdyne type, than it would be a roots type supercharger ... as for changing injectors, from what I understand, with a 9.0:1 compression ratio, you can get away with running up to 9 lbs safely, but would still need a boost timing retarding device to eliminate pinging ... to my knowledge there aren't any uprgaded injectors available for a VG30E or i ... however, that doesn't mean that companies like Jim Wolf Tech. or the likes wont modify or offer something to help ... and I would DEFINATELY pay 400 to 500 bucks for a supercharger kit ... even if it didn't come with the supercharger itself ...

any plans in the works to make a kit?
-
try lubing up the pivot points in the pedal assembly ... likely that is your problem ...
-
mines got 268k on it right now ... I have replaced the motor ... but only becuase the harmonic balancer sheared off and damaged the end of the crank ... so replacing the entire engine was more attractive to me than working on a new crank ... and cost about the same as well ...
-
this might be weird ... but have you actually tried starting your truck up yet with the radio on? this worked for another guy with the same problem you have and he was installing a blankpudt ...
-
looks to me like you should have researched your vehicle a little more before settling on it ... even if it was a bargain ... maybe its time to take the plunge and get a loan on something newer ...
-
i've never heard of those symptoms and conditions before, so I suppose that it could be anything ... try elecrtical connections to be sure that there isn't a "raw" wire hanging out there and possibly grounding out ...
-
:cool2: lookin good dude ...
-
its not a recall ... its just a TSB - Technical Service Bulliten ... and I believe it applies to more models than just the 95 ...

if you cant see them ... try cleaning up the area of the timing marks with some solvent and steel wool to brighten that area up - then take a small dap of grease and wipe it over the marks ... this will fill in the marks and make them more visible with a timing light ... if you are STILL not seing them ... check to be sure that the ignition pickup for the timing light is indeed hooked up to the number one wire (the wire leading from the front most, passanger side cylinder)...

there should be enough ... I never had to do anything with the steering shaft after three inch body lift I put on my rig ...
-
there is nothing that needs to be disconnected from our distributors to time them ...

depends on how wild you want to go, and whether or not you are finding all the parts, or the shop is ... if you get all the material together for them, you'd probably be looking at a little over 2 grand ... but skys the limit on mods ... which is why sooooo many people are doing them themselves, and going with leaf springs which is easier to setup , and a helluva lot cheaper ...
-
if your not creating a positive pressure, you aren't going to boost horsepower ... thats kinda like the electric leaf blower I saw hooked up to some crappy car with a power inverter...
-
yes there is a better system ... and Calmini has it ... CLICK HERE
-
he has a 1990 ... so he doesn't have throttle body injection ...
-
if your temp sensor is bad, you should really replace that too ... also check all vacuum hoses for any signs that there might be leaking ... usually you can take a can of hair spray and spray a few quick shots on areas - if the throttle advances, then you have a leak ...
-
just make sure that once you have determined TDC - use a punch to mark it on the oil pump housing ... then in the future it wont be such an issue ...
-
probably has something to do with the clutch master or slave cylinders ... you can get rebuild kits for both fairly cheap and can be accomplished by even novice wrenchers ... be sure to check/change all the clutch fluid as well ... that would be a good start ...

dude ... you REALLY need to resize that pic man ... server space doesn't come cheap ... just and FYI ...
