Oil can make things squeaky, especially if they get on belts (found out after oil change..heh.) Also, check to see if they arent too tight/loose or anything.. I'd definitely get that oil leak fixed! Good luck n if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Wow!! That's scary!! But that's the situation i was in, only mine was just close to going in flames.. What i would do next is replace that bad exhaust gasket It's not too difficult to replace and it took me about..15 minutes to do..It just depends in your exhaust is rusted really badly or not.. If you need help just ask! It's the gasket right under the hole you welded over..

not to but..how do you know when your door lock timer is bad? coz all my doors lock when you push down on teh driver or passenger side lock..and the unlock/lock buttons work fine..but not my keyless?

Just thought i'd try something.. I tried running a new ground wire to the MAF sensor (the solid black wire right? not the one with the white stripe?) I used the solid black cable and grounded it on the intake.. well.. CEL went off, and stayed off for 20 miles. turned it off. stayed at friends house for 2 or so hours and went back out to go home..not even a mile down the road..CEL is back on..and it didnt run right like..it didnt run as smoothly.. just..thought id give more info!

Just another idea, before we decide its the computer, have you verified the voltages running to and from the ECU are correct?

Just what i was thinking..someone took my alarm siren..so i wasnt sure if it went to that or not.. but my horn works fine..

My CEL is off, yet again (I just replaced my horribly flaky and in bad condition exhaust gasket..actually went off shortly after starting it back up.. I'll see how it does under highway driving) Maybe..they're getting JUST ENOUGH power to operate.. and under stress, they arent getting enough voltage? Just my idea.. My timing belt is in great condition..i think it was replaced not too long before i bought it.. But thanks for the idea!

That would be great!! See..my pathy sat for 2 years because it had a bad injector..and the owner didnt want to pull the intake and fix it (i can see why..it was a PAIN) I'm glad someone has the same codes as me.. Does your CEL seem to some on only some times? Like.. mine, under light driving (like back roads, not much throttle or stress) my CEL stays off..but under like highway speeds (we have lots of mountains and hills here) it comes on.. Thanks!! It would really be appreciated..

Hmm..thanks for the link! Mine seems to be working fine..but i could be wrong, maybe something else really IS wrong with it.. ill wait until i buy a multimeter.. Unless someone can come up with another possible problem..

Hmmm.. I dont have one but that's actually really cheap for one.. I'll look into it. It'll be until next paycheck though..in about..2 weeks.. so ill see if i can borrow one for now.. Thanks for the info, but where would i test at?

The MAF plug, i just cleaned the connectors, but it all looked good.. though i did see someone once squeeze the connector prongs for a tighter fit..im tempted to try it out, once again my CEL is off.. its like..gentle driving no CEL longer driving, under highway speeds, CEL I think the ECU is as confused as i am. As bipolar as it acts im wondering if there's a bad ground, somewhere.. Yeah, the harmonic balancer really only wobbles at idle.. so im guessing its fine?

Tried some troubleshooting today (as far as i knew where to start) Tried wiggling some sensors.. and tried pushing hard on the throttle cables (nothing over 3k RPM though) to create more stress on the fuel lines.. no leaks But i did wiggle one sensor connector and it sounded like the idle dropped SOME but not much, its just it sounded quieter. I have a new problem, which may not even be a problem, my crankshaft, that turns all the belts looks loose, like it needs 'balanced' or something. It doesnt wiggle bad, but enough to notice.. Is that a problem? I'm totally lost.. I did look, and noticed my #6 injector wire is crushed between the harness and an intake metal piece, but it definitely works because i unplug it and it misses..so i dont know if its even a problem (once again, it would be my fault because i wasnt looking where i put the intake at..though i tried.)
