Aren't those pretty pricey? I have had those codes so long, I don't remember what my dash looks like with out the yellow SES light.

Replaced both head lamps and fog lights with some Sylvania Silverstars. I know these lights tend to burn out prematurely as I have them on all of our cars but, I really do love the light out put.

Well then, chalk that one up for future WTF? recommendations.

Blown blinker bulb? Check the elements in the side that is not blinking?

Any way, thanks for helping him and asking for our opinions. I know we do not get the traffic that the Toyota sites get which has to be disappointing to you. Easy visual height mod. I like it! If you remove your plastic flares you will gain an extra 1 1/2 more inches of "visual" height. The down side of that is the exposed holes in the fenders where the flares are attached.

The MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor is that little wire harness that you've probably put your hand on while staring at your motor. It's located on the air intake tube that is held in place by the giant "zip tie" looking thingie just above and behind your radiator. There are two phillips head screws that hold it on. Loosen the screws, unplug the harness, and shoot the sensors with a can of MAF Cleaner that you can purchase for around $9 at Carquest. Do not touch the sensors with ANYTHING as they are very very fragile. Mine changed color when I cleaned mine on both my Pathy and my wife's Honda because they were so dirty. Now I clean them every time I change my air filter.

My TB change was the first time I had ever did anything of that caliber on any of my vehicles. Until then, the biggest job I did was replace some CV axles on an old Honda I used to own. I have now been into my timing chamber three times now. I'm getting pretty good at it! If you were close to me, we could knock it out in four hours (six to seven with beer).

Might as well get a timing belt and tensioner while you're at it as you will have to get down to the "nitty-gritty" to remove the pump. It's not really that difficult to do once you've removed the accessory belts, fan, fan shroud and timing belt covers. Am I forgetting anything guys? Oh yeah, the big one! I almost forgot you have to remove the harmonic balancer (crank pulley). That was close.

In my experience, the outside cells tend to evaporate quicker. I top mine off with filtered drinking water like we do at work on our electric fork lifts.

Remove them for both form and function. Think about it .. when's the last time you put your foot on your running board to get into your Pathy? You will gain at least an inch or two "visually" when you remove them! Oh, as to the "function" of removing them .. you won't have to Armour-all them any more!

Maybe your bailing them to tightly?

I think that Trogdor had the same sneaky suspicion as I that you had a bad fan amp but, it looks like you have a manual climate control. Do you still feel the air when you have the air selector set to "re-circulation"?

One on the front driver side, the other on the back passenger side. Well, that'd only benefit losing traction on left turns. Which way do you turn the most?

If you don't know the vehicles history, I would go ahead and replace the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, air filter, and fuel filter. It cant hurt?

It is the first time you attempt it. After you've done it, it's not really that big of a deal.
