  1. I thought for a minute there I was in the "Po-Ho" forum.
  2. Ouch. Maybe the worst rust is just on the fenders?
  3. Exactly. Look at Chicago's stats. Wake up and arm yourselves people! http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/chicago-struggles-combat-gun-violence-article-1.1271786
  4. I need to change my fuel filter as well. I'll use your experience as my cue.
  5. I believe there is a fuse under the hood IIRC?
  6. Easy fix ... move south! We love and embrace guns down here.
  7. I've spray painted my brush guard several times over the years. This is the first time I sprayed the vertical rubber strips. It almost looks brand spanking new. p.s. You sound like my in-laws.
  8. It almost sounds like you need to change your fuel filter. It is an easy and cheap fix. The filter gets clogged up and starves the engine when you press the throttle. The engine would definitely overheat if the water pump went out (not to mention that you would have serious issues if the engine quit due to high temps). Let the others chime in but, I'm voting old fuel filter.
  9. Not to hard. There are five plastic retaining clips (one is in the center just under the Nissan badge) that you will need to pinch with needle nose pliers. The grill simply snaps back on.
  10. That sounds like a plan. How hard is it to do the bench/bucket seat swap?
  11. Can't say that I have? Now, I've seen the red/silver two-tone but, not an all red.
  12. I can tell you that not one of the cars in my fleet would ever attempt that feat.
  13. Funny .. I did the filler neck recall years ago but, I still have the heavy fuel odor and the evap codes on mine. I'm sure that I'll need a new canister but I don't want to shell out the money for a new one.
  14. Ughhh .. I'm feeling the Heep "Love". I do like the CJ's.
  15. Hmmm ... planets not in alignment for you guys on Friday?
  16. There are instructions molded on the back of your keyless fob. Hold down two buttons to activate/deactivate the horn.
  17. I'm happy with the look of it on mine. Much better than the paint.
  18. I had one of those this summer. This is a Cicada emerging on one of the tires on my CJ (I kept his shell) ..
  19. I like this idea! Submit pics you fools before Brian forgets about this endeavour.
  20. Stock .. Blacked out .. I did plasticoat over the emblem this time around (no pics yet).
  21. I blacked mine out with some durable spray paint. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I plastidipped it and my brush guard.
  22. Spray the bolts down tomorrow if you plan on removing them this coming weekend. It is amazing what penetrating oil can do.
  23. Oh my .. lot's of minding and neverminding here. I broke mine by preparing them with PB Blaster a few days before trying to remove them. I did this on my wife's Honda Prelude and didn't have to "easy out" any of them. Hopefully you will have the same success that I had with her fifteen year old powerplant.
