  1. Like others posted, vision and the "open air" feel. I don't have a top or doors for my old CJ and I drop the windshield as well. It is a nice feeling .. kind of like taking my riding mower over the trails.
  2. ^^^ This. Jawga Boys, The Lacs, Colt Ford, Lenny Cooper, Bottleneck, etc. We call it CRAP (County Rap) but, it is also known as "Hick Hop". I love it when we are wheeling in the mud.
  3. Used it to drag a neighbors 2wd Blazer up the hill in todays snow. Had an audience to boot!
  4. That actually is a good deal. I recently sold my Xbox 360 for $200
  5. Exbrit has a valid point. My aluminum light holder is more of a hinderenc than useful but, I like the way it looks in the parking lot. If I were to take it offroad again, I'd put it on Craigslist and invest in a steel bumper.
  6. Might help with a remote start feature as well?
  7. Good news! I'm glad to hear things are running.
  8. Welcome to the "zoom-zoom" family bro!
  9. *edit ... stooopid new tablet multiposting.
  10. Dang ... I'm glad I live in the south.
  11. I have a prodruding hip ... it's not a "semi"

  12. Hey, welcome to NPORA and thanks for the intro! I'm sure that you will enjoy your time with your Pathy and your time rummaging around these boards for info. Oh, and I love riding the trails up at Uwharrie located just outside of Albemarle, NC. Check it out if you havnt already.
  13. This is terrible news. My wife and I chose not to have kids due to her health issues when we got married fifteen years ago. So, like you, we have "fur children" (albeit, they are cats). We live in the country where people think that it is okay to let there big dogs roam free. Years ago, I awoke to the sound of a cat screeming and dogs growling on my back porch. I witnessed one of our kitties being pulled apart by two of the neighbors dogs. He died in my arms after I chased them off. I ended up shooting one of them weeks later and still have the other one marked for death when the fskcer shows up in my yard again. I did feel better after I shot the first dog and I'm sure I'll feel better after taging the second. Actually, I've kissed the bullet that I intend on putting through the monster that killed my kitty. I have felt your pain and I am sorry.
  14. Congrats on your new purchase! I wish that I had signed up here when I bought mine 12 years ago. These guys are a wonderful wealth of knowledge.
  15. Exactly! Mudding is universal fun. I love paying in it as long as it is not my truck.
  16. Remember, my TB broke and my VG33E is still running strong. IIRC my compression is around the 140-150psi range after the new TB install?
  17. I used to run a stereo, satellite system, and a 32" flat panel tv off of mine all day long when we used to tailgate. That red top held up for years. I guess that I would have replaced it with another one if we still had the tailgate setup.
  18. I had a red top in my Pathy and my wifes Prelude. They are very nice batteries but, heaven help you if you need to charge one. I now have regular unsealed el'cheapo batteries in both rides now that do what I expect from them (start the dern car)
  19. I couldn't imagine anyone taking one of those on an off-road excursion. *edit ... sure would love to see one though!
  20. I loosened the a/c compressor bolts (without removing them) which allowed a little more wiggle room.
