  1. Bonsai Kitten is a long-standing joke. They just put the kitten in the jar long enough to take the pics and then let it go back to batting balls of yarn around the house. No harm done, it was OK afterwards.
  2. I found a grey steering wheel with the CC on it today while at the junkyard. The center pad was totally missing though.
  3. You can get to it. How do you think they put it in there? Go find another linkage piece at a junkyard or visit the dealership is all I can tell you. Mine did that, that's how I fixed it.
  4. I have no idea, and you're welcome. Ask Mikesmaximase for help on yours, he just installed his.
  5. The gas and temp guages are run by a small voltage regulator on the backside of your dash. The regulator's gone out on you if they're not working. A write-up on how to fix that is posted in the Garage section. Search for "voltage regulator" and find the thread. There's also a write-up on how to check error codes on your ECU posted at the top of the Garage forum, read that if you want to check your ECU for error codes to see what's happening. I'd say try changing the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and see if that helps. Lots of people report great success after changing out the simple stuff like that.
  6. Green arrow indicates the fuel filler hose extension tube. Cut the fuel filler hose, put the lift blocks in, then fit that tube into the cut ends of the hose and clamp it down. Red arrows indicate the driveshaft hoop drop brackets. Yellow arrow indicates the fuel vent hose extension(I think). Dunno about a 93, on mine I had a little tube just like the big one you got. Purple arrows indicate the two rearmost body mount bolts(again, I think).
  7. Mine cruises at about 2800 or so in OD at 70.
  8. He didn't use a "kit" per se. He used different parts to make his own lift kit, pretty much. Just like I did. The video is here.
  9. Stock Pathy coil, stock JGC coil, and a stock Aerostar coil. The Aerostar coil is variable rate, notice the tightly spaced coils on top. Here's what happened to the Aerostar coils on my Pathy. The top three or four coils collapsed together from the weight of the Pathy. Needs a higher spring rate, wouldn't you say?
  10. Yes, it's an interference engine. Breaking the timing belt while the engine is running will cause severe engine damage.
  11. The 3" pigtail coil doesn't fit the spring perch. It needs to be 4" diameter to fit properly. The easiest way to make the spring fit is to cut off the coil that doesn't fit. The best way to maximize use and ride height is to heat up the top pigtail coil and re-shape it into a 4" diameter. That's what I did on mine and for Mikesmaximase's springs. JGC coils are not variable rate. They are one diameter/spring rate all the way across the board, which happens to be about 50-100 lbs higher than stock Pathfinder springs, I think. They end up being about 2-3" taller than stock Pathy coils and 50-100 lbs higher on spring rate. On resizing pics, there are quite a few photoediting programs out there...I use ACDSee, which comes bundled with a great editor/pic viewer. Cracks are my friend for the serial numbers.
  12. Absolutely. Here's the thread from the AC BBS. http://65.166.200.170/ubbthreads/showflat....o=&fpart=1&vc=1
  13. Use what you can get, there are no manuals or how-to's on how to build a SAS, and...lots. Like...upwards of $2-3k. For just the front.
  14. It just went down to $1.99 as of yesterday, but that's only a 3 different stations around town. The rest vary from $2.08-$2.32.

  16. *steals your chrome mirrors, grille and front bumper again* mwuahahahaa Lookin good, you should use a steadier hand to take pics! Blurry, and still way too big. 640x480 is a good size for web pics...and yes, I recombined and fixed your last couple of posts. Oh, on the jacking up: the stock Nissan jack is meant to be used directly under the rear axle or directly under the lower control arm if you get a flat. Not under the body. It'll never reach the body height...
  17. Usually when they pull the drivetrain out of the vehicle they keep the shifter on the t-case or they just take it off and throw it away. I've never seen HB shifters left in the vehicles at my local place.
  18. Just so everybody knows: When you pick an avatar picture and upload a huge-as$ photo of your Pathy, the base picture data doesn't magically get resized to fit the 160x120 space for avatars. The base pic stays the same in filesize, but the displayed image itself is compressed to fit. What I'm saying is that there are a lot of members here wasting massive amounts of bandwidth by having improperly sized avatar pics. MrJim foots the bill for that one. You're costing him money, both for the storage of the picture on his server and the bandwidth it takes to display that picture every time it's called for. If you think it doesn't matter, try calculating it out. The number of your posts times the number of people reading each post every day times number of days in a month...it adds up FAST. Everyone needs to keep the avatar pics down to 10-20K in filesize. If you don't know how to resize pics, ask. If you can't find anybody else that knows how, email me the pic and I will send it back to you properly resized. Any avatar picture over 50K will be noted as it's found and a PM will be sent to the owner, asking the owner to resize or change it. Thanks.
  19. Man, I wish you lived closer, I'd take the pickup's bed off your hands so I could mount it on the utility trailer I have. Imagine, a HB bed trailer being towed by a Pathy, lifted with matching tires.
  20. Exactly. The t-case shifter will need to be re-bent, cut and welded or replaced entirely with a HB pickup shifter lever. The HB lever is longer to begin with and is for the same t-case, so it's a bolt-on part. I simply re-bent mine and notched the floorpan.
  21. They only make a locker for the 31 spline axles. Yours are 33, AFAIK. No dice unless you want an ARB locker. You can't even really swap rear diffs from another vehicle unless you want to do a total disassembly and reassembly...no other Nissan vehicle with the H233B has rear coils. The rest all use leaf springs.
  22. Good philosophy, Runnerman. Kudos for being patient enough to do this and for helping everybody out by doing so.
