  1. Cool beans, glad to know it's so easy to do. MaritimeMan! Get ye some clutch discs and come on over! By the way, the adjusters adjust the bearing preload, not backlash depth. The backlash won't change unless you add or remove shims to the pinion or the carrier.
  2. Mine works fine for me. I couldn't afford a new $120 high-flow cat.
  3. Here you go. http://aggressiveoffroad.com/
  4. The exhaust manifolds are different because they changed the locations of the EGR tube bung and added an O2 sensor bung, I do believe.
  5. As far as I know, the head bolt patterns and everything are the same, even through the VG33 line. A few people have done a VG33 swap and just bolted on the intake and all from the old engine. I'd do it if I had the chance.
  6. If you had watched Constantine, you would know that prayer does nothing for suicides, they go straight to Hell.
  7. There's no difference as far as I know.
  8. You need the panhard rod connected. It could cause some terrible problems at higher speeds trying to drive with it off. Nobody wants an accident. Reinstall the panhard rod at the upper frame mount as normal, then weight down the back end with either some people or heavy items (at least 200 lbs), leave the hatch open (distributes weight outwards and more rearward) and and then jack up the center of the axle. Lightly grease, then install one of the cone-shaped bushing halves onto the panhard rod lower mount, then slip the bar's end over that and put the other bushing on top. Then tighten the nut and squash those bushings together. It'll straighten out by itself under normal driving. Lower it down and you're done. Re-check the lower nut later for looseness, just in case.
  9. It should be fine, cause it's not going IN, it's coming OUT if you need to remove it. Unless it scrapes on a ton of rocks and the whole thing gets scraped up too badly to stick a 1/2" drive ratchet into it...
  10. Was the engine warmed up or cold when it did that? Nice shells, man.
  11. Now that's what I like to see. Someone that actually starts looking for problems before asking a ton of questions about the wrong things.

    lift kits

Wrong...I've had mine in "testing" for going on two years now, along with a few other people I got sets of coils for. On the JGC coils: cutting off the top coil so they fits gives you about 2" of lift. Heating and re-shaping the top coil to fit will give 3-3.5" of lift. They end up being only about an inch taller than stock Pathy coils, but the spring rate is higher and more than makes up for it. They're a perfect upgrade.
  13. It's not the drum spread adjusters, you guys. It's simply the cable tension. Readjust the cables at the "Y" joint under the center of the truck.
  14. Boy, finally man. Now tweak up your t-bars to level it out. Looks funny like that.
  15. I took the belt off my A/C compressor and took the idler pulley off a while ago. Didn't want to crack the lines open and dump R13 or whatever into the atmosphere, so I left the rest of it intact.
  16. Terll him you're willing to take that chance and get 'em put on. Nobody else has leaking problems, overheating underhood parts or anything like that. The biggest problem to date has been accessing the stock oil filter location because the headers get in the way. With a remote mount oil filter kit for about $60, you can put the oil filter elsewhere and not have to worry about it, though.
  17. I'm gonna pipe up right now and just be the first to say, "Use The Search Button For Answers Before Bugging Everyone With A Million Questions, Please"
  18. Go over the motor and make sure all the vaccuum hoses are tight and right. That's a good place to start. Next place to look is temp sensors and cleaning your MAF sensor. Changed your air filter lately? KISS...
  19. The CEL wouldn't flash like that for error codes. The flashing is for the auto tranny computer error codes.
  20. Sounds like the rheostat isn't working. Do the dash lights come on at all? If you need a new one, I have a couple.
  21. You may have put it in Valet mode. Is it a stock alarm or aftermarket?
  22. Regular Tridon replacement wipers worked fine for the last person I helped install a pair for. Maybe you need a helping hand picking out your wiper blades.
  23. Not I. I have a set of those in my garage for spares.
