  1. The manual for my '98 has the SE listed as having a .8" wider track width and 3.7" wider overall width than the XE and LE. Wider tire plus fender flares.
  2. Glad you posted that. A lot of things people consider "options" were just standard equipment. Plus I like the "ultimate outdoor adventure vehicle" part. I like that better than SUV.
  3. Is California the strictest for emmisions in the US.? Ontario is in Canada.
  4. This is sort of on topic, I have to change mine but I'm worried about getting the old ones out. Has anyone ever broken one trying to get an old one out? Mine look so bad (the ones I can see) I'm worried about snapping them off. Maybe I should have my local garage change them? I don't mind tackeling old rusty bolts but I don't want to snap off a plug in the head.
  5. My last e test I was quoted over $900 for a new cat! I had to pay extra for a conditional pass. I have 140 acres of forested land that the MNR says absorbs the CO2 from over 50 cars and supplies oxygen for over 2000 people each year. You'd think I could get a break...I mean what has any one else done for the enviroment today? If they didn't charge me more per year in property tax than my father payed for it all when he bought it in 1955 maybe I could afford a converter. Sorry but that's my rant, maybe the converter lovers could tell what they have done to "save the planet" today. I pay for them everyday.
  6. Sorry, I got that wrong. In 1998 Canada the prices were XE $35,900, SE $40,200, Chilkoot $43,300 and LE $44,300.
  7. In Canada the order goes XE (base model), SE (sports edition), Chilkoot(SE with exta options), LE (luxery edition). My Chilkoot was over $33,000 in '98.
  8. I just checked and it's not coming up for me now either? I swear he was there.
  9. Today I kept a promise to an old friend and had the muddiest truck in his funeral purcession. The only thing dirtier was some of the looks I got from some of his family who didn't know me (or him). R.I.P. Paul, who's eating dirt now buddy?
  10. I have a Facebook account that I only use to send birthday wishes to a few relatives who use it daily. Other than that I have no use for it. NPORA forum is the place to be.
  11. 31x10.5's should fit no problems. There are lots of differant brands and opinions on which ones are the best. I have Goodyear Wrangler Territorys that I'm very happy with. They're great on snow and ice, we are just getting our spring thaw now so we'll see how they are in the mud soon.
  12. VG30E should be 3.4 liters w/filter for 4x4. 4 liters w/filter for 2x4. If it's up in the braided area you've got to much oil in it.
  13. Yikes! Nothing personal but they are uglyer than the red headed step child! Much prefer your original ones.
  14. I have a Chilkoot with manual seats that are more comfortable than my Lazyboy. But I have put spacers under the back mounts to tilt me a bit so I'm now more comfortable since I broke my back. I haven't worked since Christmas but I have been going out and sitting in the truck because it's better than anyware else I have to sit.
  15. I hate to sound like a fool but could some one post a pic of what you call "Lego" rim? Mine look like in your pic Bushnut.. I have a black set and a chrome set from the late 90's. Where I live I have no other trucks to compare to...They have all rusted away
  16. I tried the rims from my '96 Hardbody (15x6) on my Pathfinder (15x7) and they wouldn't quite fit over the rear drums if that helps. I did just get a set of 31x10.5x15 Territorys from CTC a couple of months ago. I'm VERY happy with them. They were the 4 for the price of 3 sale.
  17. I have one as well. I meant to ask at the dealers when I got my strut housing done under recall but was so happy they saved the truck, I forgot all about it.
  18. If the pump is working then I'd blow out the lines with compressed air, in reverse to normal flow.
