Can anyone ID these manual locking hubs?
ahardb0dy replied to unccpathfinder's topic in General Forums
the 28 spline OEM hubs had 5 bolts? The Warn hubs I recently got from the junkyard (for $14 each) and that I put on my 94 PF have 6 bolts. -
probably just cost, I had braided SS lines on the kit I had on my 87 Hardbody and the lines sucked, but they came with the kit. If you are going to use AN fittings I would suggest going to a local hose shop and have them made, at least if there is a problem with one you can take it back.

the dealer should have had that gasket in stock as I'm sure it fits other vehicles as well
-
this is what I got using FAST: Part number 2069231G02 was superseded by part number 206921P100. I went thru a lot of aftermarket gaskets in my 87 hardbody, the only one's that actually lasted were the OEM one's. I wouldn't use any other type.

Look at my last picture above, the white part that is attached to the lock cylinder, just above the pink clip, when you turn the key to unlock the white piece passes in front of the black part causing the door lock to unlock, on my 94 I have to turn the key to unlock than back to the neutral position than when I turn the key to unlock again it will unlock all the door locks

possibly a vent?

I recently repaired a problem with my fan switch, took a few pics that can be found here: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=27677&st=0&p=517497&fromsearch=1entry517497

89 pathy stalls now that the weather is cold at idle
ahardb0dy replied to Scaramoche's topic in 86.5-89 WD21 Pathfinders
Thermo element, wax filled, when hard wax pushes against the idle cam causing idle to be high, as coolant flows thru it metls the wax causing he idle to drop -
If you decide to use any relay that was OEM, make sure to cut the plug off and leave yourself a few inches of wire, some of the relays under the hood of the Nissan's came with clear rubber boots also. this Nissan relay should work, not 100% sure of the numbers,
-
LOWERED??? what's that?? LOL
-
Any car stereo store that does installs or best buy, etc should have relays they can sell you. Auto parts stores, look near the driving light section Summit racing sells these Hella relays, probably can get them cheaper though: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLA-933791061/?rtype=10
-
yes, if the power source for the relay was only on with the key. But normally you would connect the 12 volt into the relay straight from the battery, the idea is the relay always has power than when you send power thru the trigger wire the relay engages and sends power out to the 87 Terminal. The reason these wiring upgrades are so good is the power only has to travel a short distance, from the battery to the relay and than to your lights.

just noticed fluid on drivers front tire
ahardb0dy replied to IAPATHFINDER's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
isn't the power steering pump and reservoir on the pass side? -
I see a lot of people including my self prefer to use the Moog brand, they seem to make good parts and they usually have grease fittings.

Well on the driver side you have brake fluid and clutch reservoir if you have a manual trans that is. -

ahardb0dy replied to IAPATHFINDER's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
where on the tire? Inside? was it on top and running down the tire? or did it look like it was splashed all over? If a CV boot ripped the grease can turn into a thinner liquid. Which tire Pass or drivers side? -
the spoiler above the window?
