the wheels will fit fine, you don't need hub centric rings for our trucks. They are probably 8" wide as I don't remember AR making 8.5" wheels, also if the wheels use lugs with washers they are pretty old as AR changed all their wheels to acorn style lug nuts about 20 years ago.

I don't know what it is for but it seems like it makes the lower cover very heavy so I took it out, have to put the covers back in tomorrow. Whole thing started due to a space between the 2 halves that I was trying to eliminate, than found out the plastic where the screws go into were all broken, so now have to use longer screws with washers so the screw heads don't go right thru the lower covers holes.

no picture yet but I took the upper and lower steering column covers off of my 94 earlier and there is a heavy metal bracket on the inside of the lower cover, looks like some component can go inside of this bracket, so what is it for?? Pics tomorrow if needed. thanks

check out 3A in diagram below, sunload sensor: taken out of the service manual, 1995 pathfinder, HA section: SUNLOAD SENSOR The sunload sensor is located on the center defroster grille. It detects sunload entering through the windshield by means of a photo diode and converts it into a current value which is then input to the auto amplifier.

we should contact them again and inquire on a exhaust kit for a more popular newer vehicle and see if they come back with the $15K response than we will know if their first reply was just blowing us off!!

the fender antenna is def not AM only, the Nissan used a technology similar to what Sony had way back called diversity tuning, my truck had no fender mounted antenna and with just the one in the windshield the radio would not pick up any stations now with the fender mounted antenna after I installed it my old Alpine tuned in 31 FM stations sitting in my driveway and 29 AM stations.

If you used the power antenna wire to trigger the sub it will only work when the radio is on. Most aftermarket radios will have a amp turn on wire, (usually blue/white), per the manual for your Kenwood:

nother $40 in gas, think I need to check the trans fluid as the 1-2 shift is very hard, the other day drove to work and kept the tach under 3K the whole trip back and forth and still used about a quarter tank 72 miles !! Could a bad O2 sensor effect the MPG that much??

put $40 in gas in, drove 75 miles and watched the gas gauge go from 3/4 to a hair below half. I know these trucks don't get great mileage but isn't that a little excessive?

it's probably not hard for them at all to make a system, they have all the equipment, but to make a system it has to make a performance difference for the vehicle it is going on why else would they bother? If it doesn't make a difference why would anyone buy it?? Plus anything in CA has to be CARB exempt which I'm sure costs some money, not to mention the time, material, employee pay to make the product. Yes $15K sounds like a lot to us but overall it probably isn't taking a new product from design to prototype to testing to certification than production.

maybe try another exhaust manufacturer to see what they might say. I signed up with borla as well before reading the whole thread. I did have a Borla muffler on my hardbody and I liked it a lot, the rest of the cat back was custom made out of SS and was still in good shape when I got rid of the truck but I think I paid $100 for the muffler and $150 to have the rear pipe bent and about$35 for the Borla intercooled SS tip still far less than what the are saying !!.

put $50 in gas in it and drove it to work 3 days this week now on empty again !! But at least the AC kinda works and the AC in my sentra does not

dash lights, tail lights out what about front marker lights? I would say to try cleaning the contacts on the light switch on the column, for the dash and tail lights to both go out at the same time, it sounds like it is the switch.

Don't mind Nunya he gets crotchety once in a while, I've seen a few "convertible" pathfinders since I've been a member on here, everyone does things there own way and has an opinion on how it was done or should be done, it's good to explore new things as you have done. I personally don't like how it looks but I won't bash what you've done or how you did it. As previously has been said to each his own.
