  1. The sprayer motor should run with the key in the on position with the engine off. It could just be that your pump died?
  2. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/pathfinder/1994_Pathfinder/at.pdf use that, it's for a 94 but will work for your 92.
  3. I want to know where you found a rusted out pathfinder in Washington. I didn't think rusted cars existed here. The only place mine is even hinting at rust is from crappy batteries.
  4. ah, you're up north of seattle. That's not to bad of a drive. Maybe tomorrow, since I get off early (3pm'ish), I can come up and give you a hand if you're still having issues and still available.
  5. Your gauge would need a third connector on it. Basically a constant (switched) power wire that runs the light, and then a signal wire hooked up to the vehicles lights or somewhere that gets power when the markers are turned on, and also a ground.
  6. From Seattle huh? new guys are popping up everywhere! Detach tie rod end... as far as I know, one end of the tie rod is threaded onto a shaft, and the other end pops into a hole with a castle nut and a cotter pin. I could be of more help if I were looking at it.
  7. You could always run your power from the cigarette lighter.
  8. That is the location of the ambient temp sensor for the auto climate controls. Yesterday I was mucking around and found out that full hot on mine is 150 degrees. sweltering!
  9. Mister510 is letting me borrow a pyrometer so I've been messing around with it. After ~45 miles of mostly freeway driving, his transmission was running about 180* and mine was closer to 150*. He's just running his stock radiator and I'm running a fresh radiator with a 12,000GVW cooler as well. These temps were taking from the bottom of the transmission pan.
  10. repost times infinity?
  11. As I'm about to lift my rig, I was wondering this myself to see if I would benefit from longer travel shocks. In the shock thread, the factory shocks have a total extended length of 14.95"
  12. Glad you got it figured out and it was something really simple! Would have been horrible to just keep throwing parts at it...
  13. Yeah, my guess is going to be some worn out bushings that aren't keeping the rear axle located properly.
  14. anyone else notice the slight wobble in the crank pulley when it's cranking?
  15. I believe a high hydro carbon count == failed catalytic converter, or a bad o2 sensor.
  16. I've always been taught to set the idle RPM at, well, idle not in a gear. the ECU should take care of the rest from there.
  17. Kingman. You really put your truck in gear and got out of it to adjust the idle?
  18. Idle has always meant out of gear. Neutral. Park. Whatever. It should be around 800rpm when it's fully warmed up. 1200'ish on a cold start just to get stuff moving around. When I put mine into gear, the rpm barely changes, MAYBE down to 600.
  19. Basically. Put both of those tires side by side, and you couldn't tell they were different sizes unless you looked.
  20. Actually, even though the rim and the tire is a different size, the difference between the two are so minimal that it wouldn't matter. It would definitely look funny, but there would be no problem with running it as a spare as the radius of the tires are pretty much the same.
  21. get one of Nissan's SE-R cars. like the sentra or the 200sx
