enabled the security that was on it. so yeah I suppose a switch. My sister got it to work today.

Had the Hard Drive replaced. Again. But for a minute I turned off my security on the router and the laptop got internet. Then I went to turn it back on with hopes it'd stay connected and recognize the network and it didn't.

Trying to connect wirelessly. It shows the network as available. But when I go to connect I get some BS about how it can't connect. I don't even get prompted to enter any passwords. On an open connection (with no security on my router) I get some crap about how I only have limited connectivity

Got my laptop back today. So went to hook it up wirelessly to my router. Needless to say I've been in this spot for 3 hours after dropping numerous obscenities and damn near throwing this laptop and router. I've been dumbfounded. I CANNOT connect to my internet. It works fine for my desk top. But my laptop refuses to. With security enabled I am not even getting the option to connect to the network. It shows up but I simply get "connect to another network" or "diagnose problem." Both lead me nowhere. I'm just completely dumbfounded. Now I simply have an open connection with no password. But yet I am not getting any real connection. Just "limited connectivity". I go to disconnect and reconnect and I get the same thing. Please help. I am not entirely technologically gifted. I know enough to get by but this is leaving me stressed and exhausted.

i'll look into it. I gotta go pull a front right fender today. I was trying to even up my signal light and found out the damage was worse to that fender than I originally though. The lamp is held in with wood screws and wood behind it. Gotta knock part of that metal backing out too cause that side of the grill is held in a similar way as well.

Not following. They had the maplights in 94? And if it's for a maplight why is it all the way at the middle of the truck?

wtf is this wire? I replaced that vinyl covered trim piece and there was that wire just hanging out there. It's not to the domelight wire in any way either. Also sorry for the low quality pic. My camera didn't want to take good pictures of it.

I'm currently replacing my vehicle speed sensor. Cluster demons in these is a nightmare it seems like. Beginning problems could be to test the grounds in the back and check the fuse. Make sure the brass screws aren't loose. Then if that doesn't work put in a cluster you know works. If that doesn't work then it could be the sensor acting all screwy.

i think the FSM link here didn't include WD21. I can't remember off the top of my head

suppose I'll find out if it quiets when I get the new sensor put in lol. I'm using my GPS as a speedometer for now.

What about the trim around the back windows? Not the door but behind that. With that goofy plastic trim all the way around it that likes to come out. Is that easy to replace? Mine is hanging out right now.

Haven't found the TSB's on them yet. I'll look for it. My transfer case is going to be flushed in a few days when I get the speed sensor replaced. I take it for that Monday. But it's just weird. I really can't describe it. Also is it just me or does it seem like 5th gear is really far away?

Got a temp tag for the Nissan today. Drove it around (using my GPS for my speedo) and noticed in 5th gear I got a weird sound. I can't describe it entirely. Like a whining kind of. It only does it while accelerating in 5th gear. By that I mean just maintaining speed. Cruising it doesn't seem to make it. And it doesn't do it in any other gears. Also is it just me or does it seem that 5th gear is WAY out there? I thought I didnt have 5th for a minute. I dunno if it's because the truck sat for a little while or not. Seems to be my only concern. Engine runs fine. Outside of the speedo and exhaust leak everything seems to be in great condition. Also got a slight tear in my front left CV Boot. But it's really tiny. Going to put some adhesive on and patch it tomorrow. this thing with 5th just has me puzzled.

Get an aftermarket trans cooler. The stock one is about as useless as anything. Towing while using the stock cooler will end up killing your trans.

Time is my biggest problem. I'm just taking it to the Nissan dealer. $70 in labor. Already got the sensor so all I'd need to buy is the fluid. Get an oil change while I'm at it. And that should be all of it

You wrote inside the quote. But I have purchased the sensor. Aftermarket for $85 and change. Just waiting to get gear fluid and the time to put it in.

I never saw the appeal of side exit exhausts in front of the rear wheels. Plus the exhaust heat would probably make an already rust prone spot more likely to rust. But that's just my limited knowledge.

Well the QX looks like it's trying to be a bloated FX. does that count?
