Yeah Sammy...the horn under the hood is for the alarm. You can chop it out once you've disconnected the alarm box.
-
Yeah, I'd agree with Steevo. Check/clean the MAF. Has it been sitting a lot lately, or is it your daily driver?

Meh...the nissan V6 does just fine with 33's on the trail. Our T-case and gearing is low enough that the HP and torque numbers don't matter. On road, I can see your point....it's no racecar. Not that I'd drive it as such anyways.
-
Yeah, if you don't have a vice, take it to a shop. You'll never get it bled properly without bench bleeding.
-
Your brakes don't work at all, yet you've got fluid? I'm going to assume your master cylinder is shot. Don't drive it till it's fixed. If the fluid is low, and keeps draining, it's not uncommon for wheel cylinders (rear drums) to leak. But based upon what you said above, I'm going to assume master cylinder.

The reason you're rubbing, is because the backspacing on those rims is different than stock. It's not uncommon for that to happen. Get out your x-acto knife, and trim away the part of the flare it's rubbing on. Oh, and I don't know if they sell center cap - caps. You may just have to order 2 new rear caps. Or keep the ones you have, as you may want them if you ever get manual hubs.
-
Your tires are holding you up. Though, since they did the update, I haven't been able to pass any trails, even the ones that I passed before. Something isn't right.
-
Agreed. That's not uncommon on any vehicle. I had that happen with a month old set of wires. Just had a bad one in the bunch.
-
Hmm.....I didn't know that. Cool! Good tip man!
-
I didn't know there was 2 different types..... Maybe the one you described is the type you have.
-
Pardon my stupidity....... Can you explain with a little more detail how you'd do that yozsi? Where/how exactly do you wire in a bulb?
-
I'll see what I can dig up....

Behind man. Toward the firewall.

It's right behind the coil. It's a little grey box. It's got 1 electrical plug going into it, and is mounted with 2 screws. You can't miss it.
-
The box has 2 pins that are in the bottom that allow it to hinge. They can be pushed into the box to allow the whole box to come out. You say you put the latch back together....what'd you use? How did you put it back together? I'd say try to get the pins to push into the box, and hopefully if you can get the bottom loose, you can get the whole box opened, and then take some pics to show us what's going on.

WEIRD. I'm not even sure where to begin, but I'll venture a couple of guesses. Check your battery connections, particularily the fusible links at the positive terminal. Check/clean the contacts on your ignition switch. A couple of tests. Pull the fuse to the wipers, and/or blower motor. If the condition goes away with one of those fuses gone, you know the problem could very well be in that circuit.

Nope....it's pretty common from what I hear. Some folks have tried to cut through them with a sawzall CAREFULLY as to not damage the outer sleeve. Others have used an impact gun with a chisel bit to work them loose. The question you've asked is the exact reason why many folks opt to simply buy new arms with the bushings already installed.

They're both fuel injected. VG30E = Multi-port fuel injection VG30I = Throttle body injection The difference being that the E version has one injector per cylinder....the I does not.

I'd check your CV's, and hubs. It's possible you're not getting a quick enough lock up on the hubs, and that could be causing your grind, and/or clunk. -
Yeah, they are. However, I do not know that the backspacing on the rims I'm running is the same as the 15x7 R50 rims available on the earlier models. It could be, but I don't know for sure. Like I said....it's nothing catastrophic....just annoying trying to turn full lock, and hearing the rub. I just don't turn as far now.
-
Depends. Mine measure out to about 30.5x10R16. Mine rub on the frame when I turn. NO big deal though, and I could adjust the steering stops to make that stop....however, I just don't turn that sharp.
-
Yep...get some pics up, and we'll let you know if it's stock or not.
-
The VQ calls for premium fuel. (recommended, not required). It runs better on higher octane. Here in Canada, the highest available is 94.
-
Yes, they'll fit....however.....the backspacing will be a little tighter than your stock rims. I'm running a stock set off a 99.5 Pathfinder (Pezzy's) with my winter tires, and I find they're too narrow. They'll fit, but with my lifts, they look dumb.
