  1. 1995 d21 :I have wet carpet on the drivers side floor pan, so i pull the carpet up,dry it out, put it back down and after the first lot of rain it is wet again,so up with the carpet again, get the wife out side with the hose and run over front screen and drivers door after 15 min no water inside ??????. carpet was more wet on the door side of the pan so i don't think it is the heater core. any one have any ideas or things thay have found in the past. thanks des
  2. i have a problem, when i turn my key right off my accessory power still remains on. thus over a length of time it drains my 2 batteries. Now this is where it gets trickee, if i turn the air con fan on after the key is out the power disapears and all is fine. if you turn the fan off the power does not return the same thing happens if i turn the window wipes on and off. it is like there is a relay/capacitor that is sticking and when you apply a load to it, it is enough to brake the circuit and power all goes off like it should. Any one had something similiar where i can start to look.
  3. Well you are right i bent the copper levers in the switch and away it went. What i don't understand is that i allready had power there. Well thanks for help, i shall raise my glass to you next time i out at night : des
  4. Low beam ( that is when you take lights off full beam ) dip them
  5. If the switch was faulty would that mean the passenger's side would not go as well ( but it does ) or are they all on separate contacts
  6. have placed a ground from negative on battery to the current earth and didn't make any different. ????
  7. I have no dip headlight on drivers side. high beam works fine I have 14v when engine is running at the plug ( dip connections ) I have swapped bulbs from other side which is working ( still no go ) put drivers side bulbs in other side and it works fine. I have cleaned connections. If i have 14v there i should have light or am i losing it I have started to pull my head out, has anyone got any good ideas?
