  1. Move along nothing to see here :D

  2. Timing belt (they bend valves)...Do the water pump @ the same time....TRUST ME exhaust studs can break off (think you get a tapping sound from the motor ) Your after a manual so you don't have to worry about the trans cooler If your going to do some moderate wheeling with it change the auto hubs for manual one's They are a great 4WD if looked after...even when beaten they do well I'm sure someone will add to this... But that's all I can think of right now Welcome to the family
  3. I guess you could do it with the radiator in place, but the hell with that All you have to do is be methodical Take your time. Oh and good time to replace cam seals if they are leaking too As far as i can tell the only difference between the VG30 and VG33 (that you'll see) is the oil pump, water pump and belt teeth...maybe front pulley Good luck
  4. I think your asking the wrong crowd I spose you'll always find people who say "That sucks", "Aw man those are crap" When people say to me "You should get a Blah blah" I tell them "That's not a serious Off road vehicle....I'm gonna get a Sherman " Psst...Get a locker and don't tell anyone
  5. As of 2 months ago they still don't Slick That's why I had to get Warn Premium one's
  6. Looks good Don't you just love cert Soon you'll need cert to change your oil
  7. If you had leaf springs I'd say it was "Diff tramp" but How good are the rear bushes? Hope someone with a little more knowlage can help you out
  8. I think Dagwoodzz needs a new screen Nice vid
  9. If your only on 31's it's like this But your on 33's IIRC
  10. I know there was a youtube vid floating around of some a$$es trying to kill a 4cyl Pathy....Still running at the end though. IIRC it was in USA There are the odd few here in NZ too
  11. I would but you know....shipping I got 2 stickers so I'm gonna cut the 3 letters off one Well done though Josh
  12. I was referring to 94 pathy
  13. Nice I used a Bluebird SSS Attesa steering wheel that I had lying around.....So much nicer. Same mod to covers too Lookin good
  14. If your not Wheeling it why the 33's?........Looks? Bigger tyres soak up HP, put more strain on steering and suspension, use more gas due to more rolling resistance, make it handle like it's on marshmallows and they cost more. Mr negativity Hope it goes well
  15. I'd love to be able to buy one of these brand new, but they were made in the 90's.
  16. Well normally 10" wide rims are suited better for the likes of 33X12.5's. Do they look like the sidewall goes "in" from the rim to the tread? With the rim being wider than the tyre they'd be more likely to pop off the bead when normally driving let alone wheelin. I'm sure someone will say "they'll be fine", put it this way, I wouldn't If you were going to a bigger tyre later the go for it, but a 31X10.5 should really be on an 8" rim (in a perfect world) Mine however are on 7" but I couldn't get White spokes here in an 8". 1" in is better than 2" out BTW I (not for much longer) work for Firestone here in NZ (7 years), that's where my $0.02 is coming from
  17. *Agrees with Simon* I would suggest you flush the lines with brake fluid after the new master cyl. Brake fluid doesn't stay nice after a couple of years...

    Engines

TD27T's are common as mud in New Zealand (I have a drowned one at the moment) Australia and Russia, might be other countries too. You could import an engine, but then you'd have a wait on parts should anything go wrong. Also They are slow (Best fly to a country that has them and test drive one ) Or you could try the TD254,800 I do see a few issues though
  19. Check your monitor Looks green to me Nice job, can't wait to see it all up and running
  20. There is NOWHERE to fit my 6X9's (without spacers) They are just too damn deep, but you get that with 1000w's Making some alloy spacers, 30mm. Going in the rear door......I miss my sounds Where's pics of your new set up?
  21. Sounds like dead battery...dead cell....I'd go with Ghostpath and get a free test
  22. Volkswagen Touareg 5-litre V10 turbo-diesel I'll stick to my VG30E, the TD27TI is just too dang slow You wont find too much info on Diesels here as most members are from USA/Canada
  23. There should be a rubber boot over the bulb, pull that off then you should see a "wire" clip sort of thing holding the bulb in. If not then it's a sealed unit. Any pics? I can take a pic if you want
