No it's only bad in the morning and when people are leaving work other than that its smooth sailing unless there is a bad accident. The 4x4 is useful until I get into the traffic as the morons in their minivans and 2wd crossovers just spin and spin hoping the traction control and ABS will save them from sliding into my front bumper in the best buy parking lot a week after I got the truck No joke that actually happened. I raged on the little Asian guy who got out. He wanted my insurance info and I refused. I told him 100 bucks ought to get it unbent. Turns out only my license plate was bent. So I took that 100 bucks filled up the truck and went out for lunch!

Do you mean all the way down as in you can't see any glass?
-
Can I get in on this action? Dude how would you feel if you worked your ass off to make your truck the way you wanted and then suddenly it was taken away from you.

I wouldn't drive that untill make sure the surrounding area is solid cause there is a lot of pressure on that spring perch. But I've seen worse, WAY worse. (my 93)

Couple of questions after timing belt replacement
adamzan replied to jpawela's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Mine is disconnected too, looks to have been for quite some time. It is broken off. -
I've got 2 pathfinders and both have fully functional window

This turned into an interesting discussion. Now I need this thread on hand for when my tree huggin' pathy bashin' public transport endorsin' excuse for an uncle comes by and tries to burn me with his lies. *goes off to find NON recycled paper to print thread* hehehe jk. Although my truck sure is good on fuel for when I have to drive my grandmother home from my dads yet its 20 miles in the opposite direction

That's coming along real nice man. Good work

Couple of questions after timing belt replacement
adamzan replied to jpawela's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
WTF kind of mechanic did you take it too? I know people make mistakes, but I'm a downright IDIOT and I even managed to change my own tbelt and water pump correctly. I'd be back there in a fit of rage if the truck wasn't put back exactly the way it was when it arrived. Then again I'm a perfectionist. The only thing for me was that one of the rubber washers on a timing cover bolt was cracked and came off, other than that it looks exactly the same. Take it back, express your concerns and if they're at all reputable they'll probably fix it for free. Oh correct me if I'm wrong, but are your exhaust manifold heat shields missing? -
odd sound under the hood... could it be my injectors?
adamzan replied to MY1PATH's topic in 86.5-89 WD21 Pathfinders
Mine here in canada had a code 45 for injector leak as well. My factory (the dual ones) cats were clogged and caused the truck to run.... errr bad -
It Could be that. Mine made a kind of an eeeeeeeeeee noise for a bit even before my timing belt was changed but it just went away . Maybe your a/c idler pulley is going? Mine used to make one hell of a squawking noise when the truck was cold in the Canadian winter. Could be a noise that was masked by other noises before....

Ditto, that's where someone ran a wire for the auto start on mine.

Remember B we're in Canada, we're an easy going species

Interior lights turn on when I make a left hand turn
adamzan replied to Punkfinder's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Yeah I think you have to adjust the latch thing that is on the floor of the rear hatch. -
Yeah I am lucky, but a lot of the people at the college I go to have suv's I will NEVER bike anywhere in the city, I don't trust people. I'd rather get hit in my truck than on a bike. Yeah, I haven't had any problems with my truck that have prevented me from driving it. And in the winter it's great cause I can take all the DEEP snow covered side streets to school instead of sitting in mass traffic on the queensway and woodroffe ave. I wouldn't say I have the money, as my parents pay the insurance...cause if it was in my name it'd be over 6 grand a year! I pay for the gas and the mods/upgrades. Parents are paying for the repairs and parts if needed but I have to pay them back when school is done and I have a real job.

Isn't there any warranty on the truck issac?
-
Yup, our little trucks are just the right size, bigger than a rav4 or crv but smaller than a suburban and much better on gas. Also I can deak in and out of downtown ottawa traffic very well in my truck. It's even more fun cause I'm 18 and in college. Best college vehicle EVER. For ski trips and stuff. If I do have to get a smaller car eventually, I will still keep my two pathfinders though, as I can't stand driving little cars, I have to be above people lol.

No he doesn't, and we live in Canada lol. And to all the people who say pathies are big polluters, you should see my emission test results..... I don't feel bad about driving it all the time.

Those houses are cool

Just in case, have you checked your drive belts? There were a couple threads on here, including one from me, with videos showing the ticking, I thought for sure my lifters were shot, but then on the way to college the next day the a/c belt shredded it self to pieces and the noise stopped. 2 days later I changed all 3. It's so quiet now. here is my thread with the video. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=17651&hl= It subsequently got worse (like you could hear it IN the truck with the windows closed ) and then the belt failed.
-
If you're a tree hugger why do you drive a pathfinder? If you were a true tree hugger, like my uncle, you would take the bus everywhere and bash everyone who drives an suv lol. You'll notice your gas mileage will go up a bit.
-
Mine does it too. I figured it was doing it to spin the fan a lil faster to cool it down.
-
If your in Canada which means you'll have the drl module, that is probably your problem. It happened to me and I had to get a new one from the stealership.

Try looking for the red-tek 12a stuff. Simon and I have both used it in our trucks, it cools the same if not colder than r12. We haven't had any issues so far....
