  1. That's odd my other 95 has one of those style hitches but you can remove the flat part... Are there any other holes in the frame to mount it to maybe its too far in?
  2. I had my friend sitting in the truck switching from 2wd to 4wd to hold it lol
  3. So I'm doing the body work to the truck finally and I've got a few q's for someone who may have removed these before. First is this: How do you remove that plastic piece? I tried prying at it but didn't want to break it... Then there is this, should I attempt removing the window myself or should I just pay the $75 the glass place said they would charge to remove it and reinstall when the work is done?
  4. Yeah if you're due for a timing belt you could just do it then. I just drained the rad and when I took the water pump off a crapload of coolant came out like waterfall.
  5. What the hell are you talking about.
  6. Sounds like it could be a sending unit problem.
  7. First why would you cut the plugs off. Wiring harnesses are available anywhere... Second, I agree with james. Run your own wires. Third, if you don't wanna do that, check this out: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/1639.html or http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Nissan-Wiring.asp
  8. The quest one I think was made to be non interference. Maybe so when the family gets stranded on the side of the road they don't need a new engine too.
  9. If they are not directional tires you can put the white lettering inside....
  10. You sure he's just not used to driving it with the lift?
  11. Updated my vote. Can't believe I've had this for almost 4 years. I've driven it around the entire united states. And that was with over 300,000kms and not one thing broke or wore out on that adventure. It was like 15,000kms
  12. Yeah it's interference. I think it would be cheaper to check the pistons for damage and if they're good (theres a chance they are) you can put some new heads on it or rebuild your current ones.
  13. Lol its not going to go on the carfax. That's only if it was in a crash and the frame was bent. I took mine to what seemed like 20 different places, half of which told me to get out of here. Some referred me to other guys that were "the best" and those guys quoted me 600+ And then I found the shop out in the middle of nowhere who worked for cash and did it for 350 bucks. This is probably the best way to go. Some place that fixes farm equipment in the country or something.
  14. Looks great, how does it drive with the camber like that . GL with getting it aligned!
  15. I like the legos and the chrome rims. They're incredibly tough I've wheeled with both and have never bent one. The legos are also pretty light.
  16. Get the moog ones they are lifetime warranty. Both swaybar links and ball joints.
  17. Turns out that was just because my transmission was filthy inside. Some seafoam transtune, and a complete flush and now it's perfect.
  18. If you give me a good deal on some links ill drive up there for test fitting. good work steve.
  19. The auto tranny is fine it is the cooler that screws them over. I have over 350,000 kms on my original trans and it works pretty good for that age and the abuse it's seen.
  20. Sounds like the timing belt broke. Take the distributor cap off and bump the starter and see if it turns. If it doesn't the belt broke. You can put a new belt on but there is a good chance some valves got bent.
  21. all depends how fast you go whether its city/hwy, you use cruise/steady foot, drive like an ass, etc...
  22. To be honest your best bet is to smoke the stock ones if you want a different look.
  23. I'm pretty sure they did come with factory amps one should be in the cargo area and one is like behind the radio IIRC on the 93 and older ones.
  24. It would give them a better reputation, that's for sure. Just make your own custom exhaust. For 15 grand I'll take a welding course, drive down there and do it for you!
