  1. 175 Damn that is a good price. Wish someone up here could do that for me!
  2. Those look exactly like my AC ones, B. I don't have a good pic of them but I can get one tomorrow.
  3. The nice thing about that for us in the salt belt is that they dont' smear salt down the side of my truck as bad as say my cragar soft 8's that I got will.
  4. If its sagging its probably the coils. The strut it self is a shock and a spring. The spring is what controls ride height and the shock, well you know what shocks do lol. Kyb gr-2 are a good choice for struts. Just get oem strut mounts if you go that route. If they are sagged you can get new stock springs off rock auto or you can get some HD or lift springs from 4x4parts.com or rugged rocks.
  5. I don't think you need new tbars. I put the AC ucas and 3" springs in mine and just cranked the front end. It aligned perfectly. Though now with my ARB they are sagging a little but I can always re index them.

How do you get such good mileage with 33s? Do you have an auto or 5 speed?
  7. For brakes, I got the ATE slotted rotors and pads from part source, and it made a huge difference in the braking power. I've towed a couple cars on a trailer and never felt like the brakes were lacking. The old brakes were ok too (raybestos), but they were nearly done after a summer of towing a lot! Also, great idea on the transmission cooler, your trans will love you for that.
  8. What about the wheel bearings?
  9. Andrew also got a piece of metal in his eye from grinding Use jackstans brosef
  10. Can you not just order some pipe / flanges off the net and have a shop bend and weld and assemble?
  11. I would start with topping up the coolant. Also when was the thermostat last replaced?
  12. For performance you could get some headers to go along with your exhaust and maybe an air intake if you don't take it in deep water.
  13. When I put a new CV on mine, it didn't come with a spacer and I didn't notice one on there already. I put it together and it was a nice tight fit with the same snap ring... I would say as long as it fits without a lot of play it should be good?
  14. Oh I can get it out of fail safe mode by turning it off and then back on. But the question is why is my truck spitting out a speed sensor code and throwing the tranny in limp mode while it is parked over night? For the record I can get it out of limp mode and it will drive fine and the speedo still works I just have the CEL on and no cruise.
  15. So twice in the last week my truck has started off in the limp mode when I went to leave in the morning. Today it happened again and I got a CEL with code 14 (vehicle speed sensor). The cruise stopped working after the light came on too. I cleared the code but it came back 5 min later. Weird thing is my speedo and odo work...So messed up! Anyone have this happen before? The fsm AT diagnostics are confusing as hell. I really wanna just replace the sensor but my parts truck is a 93 with a cable grrr.
  16. I was looking at that and I was thinking maybe its to keep it balanced
  17. Hoooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh is what it will sound like with a fart can
  18. According to the FSM it is the dropping resistor for the auto transmission. What it does I have no idea...
  19. Go on 4x4parts.com and get the polyurethane bushings. You'll never replace them again. Edit: Actually here is the link My link
  20. Thanks. Simon posted that when I posted it on cntc. But thanks for the confirmation!
  21. I don't think it would hurt anything.
  22. I wonder how hard it would be to convert. I have a parts truck with the auto ac....And I have to pull the dash to change the heater core anyways.
  23. What are you talking about. Calsonic makes like all the heating and cooling stuff and just because one gen has rad problems you make that statement.
  24. Just buy the store brand 50/50 mix that is what I did haven't had a problem with getting to hot in the summer and have a lot of heat in the winter
