  1. Well I would first get the fuel pump working. Check the connections at the tank for corrosion and make sure the fuse isn't blown.
  2. But then you have that bow tie disease in your nissan
  3. Agreed, I am tired of seeing that image as well. There are a lot more polite ways to tell someone to search around.
  4. It turned out to be a combo of a defective o2 sensor (the second one only lasted 6 months as well) and lack of a tune up.
  5. It is a 2006. It has the same looking lights as in those links.
  6. I think with some minor trimming and the right wheel offset they would fit.
  7. I don't get the hype about HID lights. My mom's maxima has them factory, and while they are great most of the time, when it rains the color temp of the light makes it really hard to see.
  8. Turn on the truck and let it run for 5-10 mins. Be careful not to burn yourself, mine came right out after that.
  9. Dude I welded up that exact same spot on mine without dropping the gas tank, just put a bunch of wet rags all over it to catch the sparks. That pathy has more than just a few years left in it . There is a car club here that my dad belongs to and one guy who "builds and restores performance cars" chewed me out about how the frame wouldn't be as strong and all that. I'm sure it is stronger than factory, otherwise it wouldn't have held up to the offroad abuse I've put it through.
  10. That is just your resonator, there should be another muffler looking thing (the actual muffler just before the rear axle. You can either have that piece put back on (that is what I would do) or you could just have a piece of pipe put out the back.
  11. Show me some pics of the worse parts.
  12. If it were my truck I would get the proper oil for breaking in the lifters or use the rotella. I wouldn't just chance it.
  13. Mine has always made a humming/hissing noise at the back of the truck when running. I'm pretty sure it is normal as my old 93 did the same. If it has been sitting for a while I'd give it a chance to run for a little while. I agree don't use premium it is a waste of money, you won't notice a difference. The only time I noticed a difference was with 89 octane and I only filled with that because the gas station ran out of regular and gave mid grade for the same price. If I could find Techron or Gumout here I would use it.
  14. Holy crap 350 dollars is pricey. When I bought my moog one at partsource 3 years ago it was 260 dollars, and when I warrantied it this year I noticed the price had dropped to 215! I don't think you can just change the ball joints. But if you plan on offroading the truck go with the grassroots4x4 upgraded one. If not a stock one will suffice.
  15. Which pump? If the transmission was on its way out you would definitely notice it. Once it starts on these, it usually quits pretty fast. Try cleaning the MAF sensor (there is a how-to here) and checking the connections to it.
  16. Check for vacuum leaks yet? What plugs did you use? Sometimes these trucks won't run right unless you use NGK plugs.
  17. Nice truck, whats with those headlights are they factory or did you put HID's in?
  18. I had the higher end NGK's in my pathy and when I changed them to the factory V-power ones because they were on sale I noticed absolutely no difference...Other than the fact that the higher end ones may last longer. But I'd go with what the manual says.
  19. Good point. Didn't know how many km's were on them. Does this frame look bent to you. Maybe that is why my pathy drives like @!*%. Never noticed it in 4 years...
  20. Sounds like something is rubbing against the brake rotor. Pull the tire off and see what's there.
  21. May as well replace them if you're pulling them. I made mine jealous as I contacted 4x4pathy94 asking how much he wanted for his. I am tired of dealing with mine.
  22. Autolites are cheap garbage plugs. Put the NGK ones in (factory plugs) and I am willing to bet it runs fine.
