If it's a Mallfinder the Cone is awesome; if you wheel it get (or make) a snorkel. As the intake hole is enlarged to add the snorkel; so more in... more out. Just my half cent... and teasin' about mallcrawlin!-)

Awesome info guys, reading up on it a bit elsewhere; I'll sit back and listen so I don't clog the thread.

Between you and NissanNut I'm going to get suckered into ditching my IFS soon; Wife will kill me but... where did you get your parts from? (or is it documented on Nissannuts site?) and about how much $ for parts. Have all the tools etc. just wondering about cost (minus gearing and front axle) so I can plan when I can afford to.

I was going to shine my rims But then I got high...
-
Going to get me some spray on tire shine instead of the spray on Mud next time. And Y'all fina be blinded by da bling when I roll up on ya...
-
What backspacing on rims do you use to stop it? 4.5? frame is getting shiny spots where the tire rubs the frame. I was aired down to 20psi and rubbed on body and frame.

Excellent info as usual Dave!

Not sure how I managed that yeah I do... never swap out bearings without swapping out races also. didn't have a press handy so I opted to replace the bearings only. Just an FYI for anyone else in the future! Now I will do it right this time

Shocked when adjusting timing... wires shorting?
MikeV replied to ruggs's topic in 86.5-89 WD21 Pathfinders
If your CAS is bad, that would definately cause issues My O2 sensor went bad and the damn truck would go from barely idle to 3500 rpm (figures I was in the yard when I fired up the Cooper STT Sod machine) peeled a bunch o' chunks of "the wifes" lawn before I could get on the driveway. Post up in the wanted, someone is sure to have 1 or 10!-) -
NissaYota is I believe hosing out the interior would do neat things to the ECU and other electronics. Rhinoliner would work okay but wiring harness would be in the open

Is it a NEW starter or a re-manuf##ked up one. Just read a good thread here on the trials and tribulations of the evil remanu**cked up starters; Definately will never by a re(you get the idea)ed one as time is money and not having the Pathy is punishment!-)
-
Thats almost 10% I'll stick to my Cooper STT's

Had a 5 Speed and graduated to automatic, Love my slushbox, and I had my 5 speed rebuilt and it was a bit spendy also (still have it and the broken framed truck in case I change my mind ever. I also tow alot and the wife helps get the boat in the water (yeah... I can see that now; boat in the water and pathy under it) Auto fo sho yo!-) In the mud it rocks, towing it rocks, and that extra hand (for the Red Bull) while traversing the mud pit! Oh and if my auto goes bad I have a spare in my other, other truck;-) External cooler with stock cooler bypassed is not an option (I run an external inline filter also) Lazy V

on the shutting down cylinders, I think it will freak out the EFI just by the MAF and 02 sensor readings and richen the remaining cylinders if it doesn't do cool error codes. But would be neat if it was that easy!!! curious on the outcome of the original topic, and when I was younger I played with water injection directly into the carb (fine mist) water to steam expansion on my 71 240Z. Never caused the motor issues, but didn't have any way to monitor the results. only used it on the strip, then ditched that idea and used the misters in the rear wheel wells for bleach on the tires (ah being young) definately cleaned the carbon out, but never seen a noticable performance boost. (mileage wasn't an issue when gas was $1 a gallon) Good Luck!-)

My SE seats are much more comfortable then the XE seats... But I could use a bit more comfort so I came across a set of grey cloth seats out of a totalled Z32 (t-boned at rear passenger axle). Nissans are dropping like flies lately!-( Will let you know how it goes and will post up some pics once I actually start (Saturday)
-
My SE and XE seats were both cloth, SE had the lumbar support, and the headrest angle is much better. was thinking of getting some Z seats (Z32 90-95)
