  1. I know a few of you have these mufflers (Slick for Sure) Did you guys add extra soundfroofing to the cab? over 65 is deafening me and my stereo. (Does give a good back massage now!) I drive between 65-90 mph on the Freeway going north almost every weekend, Just had Thorleys and flowmaster put on along with a highflow cat. Better gas mileage already and can feel the difference in power but LOUD! Not changing it but cab is noisy Only my Sub drowns it out and without treble it is noise! Thanks Guys MV
  2. Z's should have never been called Z's when they had a 4 cyl. Engine. I would have yelled at you for asking a question. Paperweight or go-cart your choice. Would have said it a different way but kids may be listening. Also 88 knows his "$%!t" better than most o the Pathy. PS welcome to the boards
  3. I used a pathy hardbody clutch kit in my 91 300zx (NA) with no issues (sold it; but I put at least 60k on that clutch with no issues)
  4. I believe it is "up to" 3 inches depending on how much your existing are sagging and if you have a tire carrier, overweight dog (or Ol' Lady) in back :o (See I did learn something besides photoshopin' Gay Dudes behind "it's a Jeep Thing" tire carriers!)
  5. :Magic: Good Luck on your roadtrip! Why go electric? are you having overheating issues?
  6. 225,970 miles so far, just had to replace tranny main bearings & clutch ($2500) They must have broken one of my studs (finally!) so it has an S-10 sound a.k.a. Loud. But with all the loud Harleys in my Neighborhood (Milwaukee) I guess I'll be annoying for a while as well.
  7. I believe it was 6/89 (as the 90's were then produced with the new body style/engine)
  8. Just sold my 91 300Z NA, Had a Jim Wolf chip along with upgraded intake & exhaust, new cam/ported& polished. Didn't add alot until I updated to larger fuel injectors, then I could WAY tell the difference from stock to chipped, But gas mileage was around 10-12. Had to sell or I was going to lose my license soon; thats why I have a Pathy! Can have fun even going slow!
  9. It's not a difficult mod if I remember correctly; I believe 88 had a write-up :contract:
  10. Good catch, I need to lube mine up soon B4 I have an issue; Once I get it back from the shop! $2750 to rebuild the tranny and a new clutch kit (while they were in there) After over 220,000 miles the bearing became square 14.5 hours for a tear down/rebuild. So much for the lift this summer! :sniff:
