  1. Well with HD radio launching I would look into a HD compatible radio...Unless that is your a satellite radio kinda guy.
  2. I always wondered why my steering was funny ...I thought it was just the wind when on the highway but my truck does the same thing you described.
  3. I think it goes beyond the rear seat area. The whole truck is subjective to rust, if you search around the net you will find many a owner who couldn't pass inspection because of rust. I know this topic has been beaten to death but it's a dam shame. I'm not one who believes this is entirely a lack of maintenance issue, I do believe however that rock salt expedited the problem. Maybe am just bitter because my beloved WD 21 has the rust bug.......
  4. WOW.......and I was complaining about the road chip I picked up last week.
  5. Well I finally made it to my destination North Fort Myers, Florida. I big thanks for the rubber stop tip that helped alot. I tell you cruise control works really good when it comes to those dreaded hills, somehow it maintains the speed. Well time for some golf and relaxation.........Thanks!
  6. Gotcha I'll take a look at that before heading out tomorrow. Gotta get some sleep now.....
  7. Thanks everyone..What a day..am exhausted.....I stopped in Rocky Point NC yesterday. I just stopped in Palm Beach Florida today I think it's about 30 miles north of Daytona Beach. What a ride it's been, if I had to do it again I would rent a car. The Pathy is a great vehicle but at 70 MPH for hours at a time well it just wasn't designed for that kind of highway travel. What's nice is I have a CB, satellite radio, radar detector and a GPS navigation unit. The CB became the most useful device out of all of them, there was a car fire at the Georgia border and they had 95 south shut down. LOL If anybody in Florida wants to buy the Pathy all reasonable offers will be considered. I think I would like to fly back home. LOL Seriously thanks for the encouragement.......What do you mean you turned the rubber stops...? I need to take a look at that..
  8. So I headed towards south Florida today and pulled off in NC for some shut eye. I never really drove this far with the 95 and had my doubts as she has some scary rust and over 105,000 on it. She did pretty well considering it was 12 degrees when I left, stupid me went through the car wash before leaving and everything froze right up, I had icicles hanging from the side view mirrors. LOL. I wish the 95 was a little more aerodynamic as those winds really push her around, another thing is the hood although locked tight vibrates at high speeds, like it could of used extra latches in the corners. I'm also noticing a small pull to the left every so often, could be the wind though. Well wish me luck, gotta another long day of driving tomorrow.
  9. Seller doesn't have the greatest rating....
  10. I envy you, I've been wanting a 98 for so long now just can't find the right deal.I love my 95 but I just know I would welcome the ride and bigger engine. Instead I just keep throwing money at my 95 which is senseless because i watch it rust more and more each day. O don't forget about the timing belt..................

    Bumper

LOL the other day some idiot parked right on top of my ass so I gave him a little bump and boom poked a whole right in my back bumper. Dam rust!
  12. I suggest leaving those rubber covers on especially on the passenger side as the brake lines are right there. Mine must have been missing for a while because the brake lines right there are rusted pretty bad. I actually took a PVC place mat and put it on there...it's ghetto but serves the purpose.
  13. Thing is with the gauge there is no actual numbers on it so we really don't know what temp 1/4 of the way up is???? For all we know 1/4 up on the gauge could be 200 degrees.
  14. With the fuel line you can just clamp on some rubber hose.
  15. I have a stock one from a 95, I had to torch it off to do a timing belt, water pump and lower hose job. I was to lazy to drill and tap new holes in the frame to reinstall it. I zipped tied a hard plastic skid plate as I don't do much 4 wheeling. I'm in NY so let me know.
  16. Or you can set the idle to like 2500 RPM.......Then you will be quick off the line....
  17. My 95 had a after market alarm but for some odd reason it's not hooked up and the stock one is. What's even funnier is the after market remotes lock and unlock the door but doesn't enable/disable the alarm. The stock remote enables/disables the doors and locks?????
  18. Turns out the oil filter was loose enough to let oil leak....That's the last time I let anybody change my oil.
  19. Well It's still freezing out but I took a look and it's not the valve covers leaking. I felt underneath the oil filter and there's oil on the bottom outside of the filter. I can't see it being the RMS with oil on the oil filter casing. Of course the starter is covered with oil. I'm guessing that maybe it's the oil filter that is pissing oil. Like I said I didn't do the last oil change and it's possible that the oil filter wasn't put on properly, maybe the gasket from the old filter is stuck on there??? I knew I shouldn't of let anybody else do my oil change.
  20. Well looks like I might have a leaking RMS, there's oil all over the cross member and oil pan. I hoping it's just a loose oil filter or plug as I didn't do the last oil change. It's to cold out to mess with it now but if it's a leaking RMS am done with her. What a shame 104,000 mi and the dam RMS leaks..Not Happy!
  21. Bought Rain X also with the anti fog, just need to apply it.
  22. I put on some Bosch and it seems much better.
  23. I know there was a post around here somewhere talking about the "Bouncing Windshield Wipers problem". Anyway how do I stop the wipers from bouncing across the windshield? I only put these wipers on a month ago?? Any recommendations for a good all weather wiper.
  24. If money is a issue just buy ONE strut, it holds it just fine.
