  1. Let me ask this.....If you do a little research on the blue book value you'll notice that the difference between a 95 and 96 is about $2000, which seems a lot for a 1 year newer vehicle.
  2. Hmm that is possible seeing how they just did the rear diff. seal...dam dealership!
  3. Thanks for the suggestion but why would I only get vibration at 50MPH  At the moment the steering wheel doesn't vibrate only the gas pedal and floorboard...LOL the rear view mirror vibrates also I was getting dizzy trying to look into it. I will try your idea though.
  4. I have the weirdest thing going on that just started to happen today. If I'm doing anywhere between 50 MPH and 55 MPH the truck starts to vibrate, mostly the gas pedal and the floorboard. It almost feels like am in to high of a gear for that speed. Like when your driving a manual and your in 4th gear going 20 mph. That's the best I can describe it. Now anything higher or lower then 50 MPH it's fine no vibration, the vibration kicks in at exactly 50 MPH and goes away at 60 or below 50 MPH. I tried turning off the OD and switching the E-AT on and off but it made no difference. The only thing I have done to the truck prior to this happening is change the rear differential seal, which I can't see having any adverse affect on this problem. I really want to love this truck and I've dumped over a $1000 into it but I just don't see any longevity with it. Sure the motor will last but everything around it seems to be falling apart. I'm actually suppose to go check out a 93 s10 blazer tommorrow but I would prefer to keep the Pathfinder. Any ideas would be appreciated ...It's a 95 XE Automatic with 103,000 mi.
  5. Don't forget to take pics of the rescue.
  6. At least you had a little company...Nice Dog.

    K & N Filter

Did you notice any difference with the drop in one? If not I guess I will have to go with the cone.
  8. I agree on the 94-95 thing but problem is if you live in a area they may encounter any salt then I would stay away. Don't get me wrong I love my Pathy but the rust thing is just ridiclious.
  9. Honestly I would stay away from the WD 21. There's nothing worst then dumping money into a truck and watching the frame detoriate at a very fast pace. Sure you could spend all your time on this high maintenance frame and hope it doesn't rust out on you. There have been to many reports that even people who kept up with frame maintenance experienced significant rust.
  10. Well just a hair over 100,000 and my brake and fuel lines are all rusted out. That is unacceptable. The dealer told me $1800 to replace them all. There even charging me $300 to change the rear diff. seal because of all the rust. Why I keep this thing is beyond me.
  11. Anybody put convex mirrors on there side view mirrors, I put a 3 inch on today and WOW what a difference, no more blind spot. It's cool also when you park, you can see the curb so the tire doesn't hit it.
  12. Did you use a oil filter wrench or the cup?
  13. So I was wondering can you get that oil filter from the top
  14. WOW Here I'm complaining about rust and my Pathy doesn't look nothing like that.
  15. Thanks I didnt know that.
  16. So am sittin in bumper to bumper traffic for about an hour in NYC today with 100 degree temps and my check engine light came on. After I got out of the traffic and started to moving again the light went off. My temp gauge never moved past it's normal point. So am wondering why the light went off, I thought the light is suppose to stay on until you can find out what the code number is.
  17. What would be nice is a pathfinder magazine.

    carpets

    How much for the carpet?
  19. I would start with a carfax as the seller might not be the orignal owner. I personally would pony up the extra money for an 01 or 02.
  20. I have rust on the rear fender well and the rear bottom door, the good news is the actual frame is still in good shape for the most part, just some light surface rust. Seeing how your the orignal owner did they offer rustproofing during point of sale?
  21. Ugly, ugly, and ugly.................
  22. I'm actually bringing mine to the dealer tommorrow to have it fixed, I don't have the time or patience to deal with this.
  23. OK new rules, if your tranny goes out and you post it you have to tell us .....How many miles on the tranny? and if it has a tranny cooler?
  24. If I was to make a move it would be into an 02 Silver Pathfinder SE.
