  1. The wavy idle is definitely a fuel delivery issue. Mine does that crap for the first 3 seconds on winter cold starts and it sometimes even has a random misfire and the oil light stays on. 3 seconds later all I can hear is the lifters and then less than a minute later it all goes quiet and works fine like the problem didn't even exist. I'm going to get the thing fuel pressure tested sometime during the week and see what I can find. I checked the ECU for codes but there are no problems found and the check engine light is off.
  2. i broke mine off in the bracket and then drilled it out
  3. Do you switch in the gear or in N?
  4. that makes sense adam has the auto hubs and he says that he can shift from 2h to 4h when they are unlocked
  5. the tcase is good but if the hubs are unlocked when shifting on the move it will grind even when going 5 mph
  6. My truck has the auto hubs and it has this weird problem where it can no longer shift from 2HI to 4HI while driving under 25 mph. If I attempt to do that, there is a grinding sound so I don't do it. However, if I stop and put it into P or N, I can shift from 2HI to 4HI. Then if I put it in D and drive forward to lock the hubs, the 4x4 does work. Once the hubs have been locked, everything works again, I can shift between 2H and 4H on the fly under 25 mph unless I leave it in 2H and reverse, which unlocks the hubs. The transfer case seems to work good and it has fresh oil. The only problem I can see is something with the automatic hubs or something else in those spots.
  7. when people stereotype america like that, they don't understand the politics not everyone here sues for crap like that it all depends if they came out of a place like NYU or not
  8. Nissan issued a TSB and provided revised studs check the service records to see if you have the revised ones before you go spend the cash
  9. different 93 has an electric speedo too
  10. well that one has a bad engine so
  11. looks like a fun project vehicle
  12. a turbo has lag is a generic statement the lag will depend on the size of the turbo a small turbo has almost instant response just like a supercharger while being more efficient
  13. that's probably to reduce the drag on the engine
  14. all you have to do is find one with the white gauges and swap the white tach and speedo in for the orange ones
  15. i think those toyota previa minivans had that kind of a setup with on-demand supercharging
  16. either the gauge has a problem or your thermostat is stuck open the temp should be consistent throughout all seasons
  17. right, all you really need is an indicator unfortunately, radioshack no longer seems to sell these things
  18. those are the wrong kind of LEDs they create hot spots in the numbers you want 360 degree beam high power LEDs to notice any difference
  19. the weather slows down the power window amplifier this is a problem on many vehicles
  20. thanks to kyle for sending me a spare cluster oh and
  21. refills are cheaper than buying blades all the time
  22. I got some dealer ones and they work well but only work well up to a minute before they start hopping across the windshield. I think that was due to them being 15 years old when I bought them. The good thing about them though is they are re-fill capable. Now I have to find good refills for them that are not 15 years old.
  23. that's just awesome finally, someone is attempting a VG30DETT swap into a WD21 that means a bulletproof engine and power all in one like it was meant to be PS: if you can't get the engine to fit, try a nice body lift and a suspension lift too maybe
