  1. You want the R50 with the VG33E. The R50 has a much better setup even though it is a unibody and I will debate anyone on this. I think for crossing creeks it should be just fine.
  2. lol @ the cheap russian who runs his tank low
  3. The fuel pumps don't go bad, what goes bad is the connection on top of the fuel sender. Clean it up and you should be good to go.
  4. 2000 Pathfinder with the 3.3
  5. You did not have any issues because you did not pry the seal off and you don't have to. I took mine off because I had a better one to put in there with more seal material on it.
  6. Those rubber conduits in the doors are such a bitch to wire through. Then, I don't know how to get to the passenger side because there is a blower in the way.
  7. Apparently there are small rectangular exit holes on the bottom of the door. I got 2 washers out and the third one probably fell through and rolled away somewhere. When installing the triangle piece of the mirror, put the screws through it first and then the washers on the back. Do not remove the screws or the washers will fall through the door. Japanese ingenuity for the success! Those things are actually steel and can be picked up by a magnet but because they are so tiny and weird, the magnet stick has a tough time grabbing them. So, anyone got a spare?
  8. Upon a closer look, I see that the defrost resistors in the mirrors are routed directly to the switch and body ground.
  9. I have to look at some more diagrams in the FSM but it looks like I may be able to wire them to the defrost fuse. Nevermind that... I will look for the 296M harness wires somewhere behind the kickpanel and there is also a body ground there that I need.
  10. I'm looking at wiring diagrams. Perhaps I can shove two wires per side through the rubber dingus in the door and not mess with factory wiring. Then they will be routed to what looks like the defrost relay.
  11. the design is a bit ridiculous, the washers should have been glued to the seal instead of snapped in there
  12. I am pretty sure the rear is 13" now. That is what all the catalogs say. I'm even thinking of going to the dealer now for wipers because I want to get all 3 at the same time and wally world only sells garbage in 13s. The dealer considers the wiper blades a maintenance item which means that these parts are sold at the same price as you could get them in Autozone for example.
  13. How about these PIAA blades? Front: http://www.amazon.com/95048-Super-Silicone-Black-Wiper/dp/B0002Z9QXU/ref=au_pf_ss_1?ie=UTF8&Model=Pathfinder|893&n=15684181&s=automotive&Make=Nissan|67&Year=1991|1991&carId=004 Rear: http://www.amazon.com/95033-Black-Silicone-Single-Wiper/dp/B001EZ2KZ8/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1285213903&sr=1-3 They look like they can get the job done.
  14. Tell me about it, I found an oil cap in my fender.
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_VG_engine#VG33E
  16. For the Bosch Icon, are they the 419A or the 419B? What about the rear? Doesn't look like I can get the Bosch Icon blade for there.
  17. It is time for me to change the wipers and I usually get the Anco blades because they have the most amount of rubber on them but lately I haven't been happy with their performance. They tend to jump across the window when they feel like it. I am considering getting those bracket-less wipers because I really like their performance and style. So what are some of your recommendations for wiper blades? Can anyone also tell me the sizes? I think they were 19" for the front and 13" for the back.
  18. USE ONLY NISSANMATIC-D FOR ATF it is Dexron III with a viscosity modifier the dealer sells it for dirt cheap it looks like i'm late again
  19. I would have to take the dashboard out to change the harness that connects the system to the defrost.
  20. Ok trouble... The wires highlighted in yellow may not have been available on the 91 so even if I get the harness for inside the doors, highlighted red, it just may not work.
  21. So is that like turning your firewall off?
