  3. and now, a serious response. I recently redid my entire exhaust. I put on Thorley headers, high flow cat, and flowmaster muffler. Alot of people suggest 2.5" piping, but I still think that is too much. From a flow perspective, the headers have a 2.25" outlet and with that in mind, I choose to pipe the rest with that diameter. By not having a drop or increase in piping size, flow through the system has been ideal, with no real drops or increases, resulting in good flow of gases, without any drop in performance. Overall the system has performed far better than stock (obviously) without any hesitation or major dead spots in the powerband.
  4. Sorry mate, already have a set, otherwise I would. Would make a nice present for B, but I'm well on working my way to broke only 1/2 way through the semester.
  5. Goo look at the POHO thread, we are playing TAG

  11. Ig thats the case, I'd rather be on my crotch rocket than that thing, 'cause on my bike, I at least have a chance to outrun whatever's commin up to hit me.
  12. Ok let me get this straight. You want unique wheels that no one else has, yes? You want input from some one who has them, yes?
  13. Careful, B's gonna you guys
  14. Haha, I've seen that. Too dumb for words really. Too bad he didn't fall under the tires.
  15. I get all excited for a minute that Jim is back, then realize that it's old. Quit playing with my emotions
  16. Mine is great. I Engineered the bracket so that 1, the filter is up and away from the rest of the stuff, and two, can be changed without having to remove the bracket. I still cut my oil change time in half, but (gasp) I still have to lift the bonnet. It looks clutered in the pic, but thats due to the low angle. If you llok from on top, its wide open all the way back to the firewall.
  17. It's a Chinese company. Haha. Not that the 90's were all that bad, but I guess Europe, where it's being sold, has less stringent crash tests than here. Same reason you can't buy a Nissan Skyline from a dealer here. It hasn't been through the rigorous crash tests. That, and it's a very high performance car.
  18. My '91 headrests can pull out as well, letting the backs fold down completely.
  19. Not I, but then I haven't been jumping around like Mr Jim either
  20. Just out of curiosity B, where did you hear of a Calmini T bar snapping? Wondering due to the fact that I might be buying a set off the classifieds.
  21. Could also be the connection point where the EGR threads in. Not sure where that is on yours.
  22. Hmmm depends. Where's your dip stick? On mine, there was a slot in the flange on the drivers side so they would fit past the dipstick tube.
