  1. LOL, where ya at again? It's no biggie at this point. Right now I'm in Seattle, and in a week I'll be in the Bay Area.
  2. Yes i do, and believe it or not, she's about ready for paint. John fixed all the plastic over the summer for me, so all I have to do is spray her. She has all her fairings and everything. I don't think I can handle this information overload.
  3. Cool, thanks alot SW. I know it's alot to spend on a CB, but hey, when ya know what you want, you'll get it.
  4. Thats a good idea Mike. Shwe isn't that bad underneath so all I need to do is add three inches to the existing size right? BTW, how ya been bud? Have a good summer?
  5. I have been looking at these things for a while now, and can't find em any where in the states. It's a Uniden UH013 scanning CB, and it goes for a whoppin 399.99+ AUS. Here's the help part. I'm good for the shipping and cost, I need some one trust worthy who can pick it up and send it to me, or at least find out how much it would be to ship first, then procede to step 2. Any how, if you can help, or know somethin that is helpfull, lemme know. Thanks. M.M. BTW I'm thinkin paypal, so no worries there mates.
  6. Hmmmm, I kind of remember now. AC has the kit for the later models and all they do is add the longer bolts. Sometimes finding the right size grade 8 bolts can be a pita, so I might have to shell out the extra bucks for a complete kit. Does any one besides AC offer the complete kit? Ahhh fuggit, I will NOT spend another dime at AC. If I have to scratch around and find bolts, fine, as long as it's not through AC.
  7. Ok 87-89 kit to 90-95 kit. Any differances? I see one for cheep but it says 87-89, and I have a 91. Thanks for the help, just to let you know, it's ebay, and only buy it now, so I'd like to snag it as soon as possible. thanks. M.M.
  8. Dude, You put your steering wheel on the wrong side when you put it back together!! I don't think I have that option on mine, but I'll go check....... Nice install through, did you have fun gettin that dash off?
  9. LOL yeah it was some hard work. Realisically, if was easy and paid that well, everyone would be doin it right? We lucked out and had a nice streak of 2 weeks where we had great weather. The last week it was blowin around 30 knots, with about 6-8 foot seas. Crappy. Got some good pics, and yes, Grundens is my friend and has been since I was about 8 years old. We also had some good times in town when we managed to get in at a decent hour every now and then. Mainly Ketchikan, namely the Artic Bar. Great place and, well, I don't really remember walkin back to the boat any of the nights we went there.
  10. "I've created a monster, cuz nobody wants to/ see my thread no more they want to whore I'm chopped liver."
  11. Are people making their own stickers or is someone mass producting them?
  12. Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but I had the same problem with the squeeks, and I cured this not only with the zerks, but I drilled 4 holes into the bushings themselves. I placed them about 1/2 in from the ends, two sets of holes straight through, 90 degrees rotated from each other. I hope that made sense. I havent had a squeek since. M.M.
  13. woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and with that, I am back. Hope every one had a bang good time, I sure as hell didn't. Well it wasn't that bad, just long hours (read 0330 to about 2200) for four days on, one day off and a true butthead for a skipper. Nice guy off the boat, the most insulting person on. He'd yell at us for no really reason, and even more when he did have one. Kinda detracts from the fun aspect. BUT, The other crew were cool, one was my brother, as we made the most of the situation. Season ended a bit early, but we caught almost 1.2 million pounds for the season, so not too shabby. Before every one asks, I don't know how much money I made, I'll find that out in a couple weeks, but when I do, I'll be sure to rub it in your face. LOL I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK let the whoring commence
  14. Hey guys and gals, just a quick update. Things are going well, and it's shaping up to be a decent season. My skipper's on the crazy side, but good luck finding one who isn't. We pulled into Juneau last night after the opener and am able to get on and say hi. Take care, I'll try to say hi when I can. Gotta run. Oh, and thanks to all for the well wishes.
  15. Well kids, it's been real, it's been fun, but not real fun. I headed out on a commercial fishing boat to SE Alaska to do some commercial fishing. We're gonna be purse-seining (google it to find out more) for salmon. It's summer time, so the weather's usualy not too bad, and we're a bit more inland, so no open ocean storms. I grew up doin this, so nothin new, and who knows, I might make a few bucks and finally be able to afford some toys for my rig. Any how, take care, be safe, put one back for me , and most of all, have a great summer. There should be no excuses why you guys aren't all out wheelin even if I can't. Peace out. M.M. Oh, and one small favor, which I don't think I'll even have to ask, but try to keep the offical whoring thread goin, you post whores. +1, and I'm out........
  16. Ha, I got ya beat there. I've been goin to the local dealer so much, they started hookin me up at slightly above their cost. I just paid 108 bucks for a Nissan clutch, can anyone beat that?
  17. OMG!!!! I am retarded. Thanks google, you saved the day again.
  18. LOL if I haven't learned it yet, it's not worth knowing. Keep in mind, I already have 4 years of school under my belt and have a few classes to wrap things up. Maybe it's a land lubber term, as I have never heard of it used anywhere on any of the ships I have been on. Google, here I come.............
  19. Not necesarily better, just works with the slippage of the disks inside it. It needs an additive for that slippage, rather than just a regular gear oil where it's just gears meshing.
