are you running into things that are breaking them? or are you saying just the vibration is enough to stress the tabs? basically I have never had that problem (always had a brush guard and now an ARB)
-
or stripped out and anchor

that is so odd. well even if you find it online the downfall of most part stores is their own part listing databases. generally if you can take them a part number they can and usually will get you that part. I work part time at Advance Auto here in VA and many times our computer system says we do not have it, but when i cross reference a part number (especially for plugs) we usually have them in stock. If you have an advance auto up near you, I know they can get you (and should have on the shelf) NGK Iridiums, and can order you some NGK wires.
-
densos and ngks are both good buys for plugs and wires, but i seem to always pick NGK, more readily accessible. Although both are sold at advance auto, might want to check there or a local place, they all sell NGKs....

pics of how it mounts and dimensions of the light might help...

why are you setting aside the drive shaft?? they are the same auto to manual...so are the t-cases....

thats awesome. ive seen a couple 4 doors choped, frontier2k1 (richard) did his before he chopped his up and sold it all. it looked really good, he also was running a full exo cage as well though...

Im not going to sit here and tell you it will be easy, but it might be easier if you just used your transmission (manual) and put in the super charged 3.3 (and all the electrical involved in that) which I am not to sure of. it will be a pain, but less of a pain if you kept your 5 speed

bad battery. throw a new battery (or known working battery) into the truck and i bet she will fire up.
-
why not just paint it with some high heat paint then?
-
not to mention the VG33s that were 'charged had upgraded injectors, so its not so cheap and simple us vg30 guys would have to step ours up as well...
-
if its a steep enough incline it could also be the engine slowly leaking off compression, as in there is enough weight against the flywheel to turn the pistons over

oh man. we have a tractor with a bucket, but would have never thought of using it....great idea!

$500 cash if you change my water pump/timing belt on my 90 pathy!
sammyb33 replied to NaturaTek's topic in General Forums
at the moment i dont have any place to work on your pathy down here either. if i had more time or was able to call a couple days off work i would be glad to do it. but honestly i dont even want to get your hopes up because I am so busy and i feel like if i tried to work it all in, i would just be wasting your time. sorry. If anything comes up (like a place to do actually work on it, AKA a garage space opens up) i will let you know via PM. sound good? -

yep, my point exactly is the fact of driving distance. Sure I know I'm in VA, but its a good solid couple hours of driving, to bring all my tools, do the Tbelt, then load back up and drive home...Plus the fact at the moment i work two jobs and taking a day off really cuts down on my paycheck that i need so dearly. Not that 500 wouldn't be nice -
how do you beg to differ? if you dont stick with a Dana axle driver drop, then yes, major fabrication is needed in the drivetrain area.
-
ah sorry i didnt see this. i got a HP 44 out of a late 70s (77-79) ford f150 and yea, chevy outers
-
well i know changing the thermostat is a PITA but if you havent done a Tbelt job yet might as well, and then do the thermo as well at the same time...
-
no the battery does not have a reserve. when the alternator dies your car will just be running on the batters power. Once the battery goes dead so will your car. Sometimes the dummy lights (brake and battery light) dont come on because they did not sense the drop in voltage and wont alert you to the dead alty. So you can be driving around on just battery power for a little bit and then when that goes your car will "peter out and die"
-
ok also, a thermostat can cause an erratic idle. is yours stuck open?
-
nope. 30 miles would not do that to tires. its been like that for a while. admit it

i really like those dick cepek ones....
