  1. ive seen lots of guys run them on trails and rocks. personally yes if i were driving my pathy on the road at all during the week i would not get a set of boggers, i might go with some TSL radials, but for the majority of the people on this board to DD their pathfinders another MT would be better, dunlop, bfg, pro comp, are all good road worthy mud terrains
  2. i personally love my ARB. i dont think i could have gotten one made for as cheap as i got it (used off of ebay luckily) but once i got it it would have been worth every penny to buy it new!
  3. Thank you GG, and just for your information YOZI, yes i have wheeled with them, i have wheeled my buddies sami with them on there, wheeled with a number of people who have them, seen them in action on the trail and heard them on the road, so please leave your asinine comments to yourself next time.
  4. who cares, they are amazing offroad....well worth the money on two sets of tires, one for the street and boggers for the trail
  5. so apparently this guy over on VA4x4 got a hold of Phil and ordered a Frontier kit from him and he says it will be delivered by Friday?? LINKY Phildawkns@aol.com this is the email the guy used to contact him...... (i posted this in the pinned topic as well, but i just wanted to make sure everyone saw this )

  7. Phildawkns@aol.com this is the email the guy used to contact him......
  8. so apparently this guy over on VA4x4 got a hold of Phil and ordered a Frontier kit from him and he says it will be delivered by Friday?? ~LINKY~ so who knows whats up
  9. an even quicker way to check and see if your alty is dead without a volt meter, pull the battery positive off while the truck is running (if you jump start it) if it continues to run then your alternator is doing its job, if not, then i think its safe to call it dead.
  10. i would just make sure i carry some water with my to the trail head that way when i go into the deep stuff i can then get out and wash out my alty before the long drive back home. then when i get home i always wash it out with a garden hose
  11. i went thru my local offroad shop, they called up Rough Country and told them that they just needed the UCAs and they said ok and shipped them out.....
  12. do you have skids?? have seen guys mount them along the frame rails. could be an option...and means a super easy oil change.....

no. if i remember correctly, that guys pathfinder does not actually have a front driveshaft. so personally i would never want that pathfinder. not to mention shoddy steering
  14. why? its not going anywhere and since then i acquired a hitch so no more axle strap
  15. yea and im saying i wasnt even pulling from those tow points....i had my strap around my rear axle
  16. i wouldnt trust them to actually pull somebody out....ive bent mine just because the strap was pulled against it....i wouldnt trust just those to pull someone with.....
  17. ah yea, i wasnt even thinking about the tach. i would assume the same, that the gauge and how it reads will be used to the 6 cyl firing as opposed to only 4.....but who knows for sure
  18. they came on 95s that were man-trans.......
  19. yea, just let me know. my 95 tranny worked BEAUTIFULLY. i just hate autos the fluid looked good as well. and at this point im really wanting to get rid of it so it will be cheap. just let me know!!!
  20. i think it depends on what was in there. see in my 95 you can use either 4x6 or 5x7 in the front..... EDIT: But i to have 6.5s in the front, i just made some speaker rounds and put them in that way...
  21. hmm, im pretty sure the VSS is the same once they all went electro. maybe someone around here can get their hands on a hardbody service manual and can take a look at the cluster wireing, check some of the plugs, but i pretty much feel that they will be the same. same truck really from the doors up.....same interior, everything.....
  22. i cannot say for sure from experience, but im pretty sure it will work.
  23. depending on where you are located, i have a perfectly fine auto tranny out of a 95 that may work. the only trouble you might have with it is that i think the pre 94 models were cable driven speedos out of the transmission, so im not sure if you can rig something up or not.... otherwise if you want to ill sell it to you really cheap!! i just want it out of my garage!!!!!!!
  24. well, my buddy with an old Jeepster has no sway bars, and what he decided he would do is sacrifice his ride quality. he opted for the rancho adjustable shocks, so when driving on the road he dials them up for a bit stiffer shock to reduce body roll, then dials them back down for the trail......just an idea....
