  5. well, like any mechanical problems, some people are going to have good experiences, and some will have bad ones. its a crap shoot buying used vehicles.
  6. yea i was meaning to use the silicone to seat the grommet, and then maybe a little from the inside to insure no water gets through
  7. then what, everything has to be completely custom...
  8. grommets and silicone goop are your friend
  9. ooooh a valid thought comment from mws YAY
  10. is that seriously how you found it. because if so thats just not fair....
  11. yea they look big, but i was expecting them to look bigger any smaller, and im not sure, but i think they would be too small. who knows...who cares, it works, it looks good, and bam, your good to go
  12. 260 for a new starter?? holy crap. rebuilt i got quoted 110 at advance.....
  13. which would be extremely expensive, but awesome at the same time
  14. 26 freakin bucks....id just keep spares (spare 40 amps)
  15. ARB sells an air locker (selectable locker) There are detroits, but i think they stopped making them for ours and then there are the lockrite lockers
  16. that looks good. im surprised the 6x9s dont look HUGE
  17. or not i guess....ummm, so no response?
  18. 40-50 amp ill bet. if it was generic, thats the same one i got. and it works fine. untill i decided to pitch it and go another route....
  19. id say try finding it online. thats what i ended up doing. its cheap, it just sucks to deal with shipping. even though i highly doubt that you need a 75 amp relay, only because every car parts place i talked to said the Taurus apparently did not use a 75 amp, otherwise they would carry it. soooo...that being said, i guess its just overkill, which in electrical wireing is a good thing
  20. ok, there is no auto pilot bushing. i now just remember having a tough time actually getting the pilot bushing in (hard time pressing it in) so unless you actually see something that would obstruct it, you should be fine.
  21. very true. at least you all got it all working though right??
  22. yea thats right. i had some trouble pressing mine in, but i forced it in there working fine as of now
