    Parts

i dont know if i like the idea of zip ties holding my springs in.... oh and i will get some readings for you on saturday, i have my stock coils sittin in the garage...
  5. i agree. i think its ugly. so yea, the new nissan line where all of their trucks and SUVs look similar, yea i think they are ugly.
  6. yeps. why does it happen that way? i wish i could always be relaxed like that working on my vehicles....that way i could actually get something done in the time allotted
  7. hahahaha shed your tears!!!!!! i wanna see frankenvan!!!!
  8. the reason you rubbed was because of the 3.75 backspacing. if you fit a 31 on your stock rims or on even a 4 inch backspaced wheel i would bet it would fit with minor rubbing if any.
  9. i put energy suspension bushings inside my RC UCAs. (the energy suspension bushings being stock bushings.)
  10. oh. i didnt even know there was a linkage. the pathfinder i pulled my parts off of did not have that....my fault
  11. yea considering i did my friends dads 89 f150 heater core in about 45 mins (ok an hour if you count filling it back up )
  12. i didnt have to take off much, but i did have to clean them up because once i got the bushings burnt off the sleeve was rusted solid....well worth the work, i love the suspension lift
  13. ok if he has the button or not dosent matter. its a keylock.... so you push the button to get the key out...or is it different on pathfinders....
  14. hah my already dented up fender got a few wrench bashes during my rent overhaul (and a few from the tranny swap but i ordered a new fender ASAP cuz i felt bad )
  15. all he is going to have to do is make the jumper with the auto tranny shifter (wires) he wont have to deal with the keylock thing...no need...
  16. dang, that sounds good, and how could i forget frankenvan!!!!!!! so maybe some pics of the paint and what you have done should be in order?
  17. how is the FrankenVan doing?
  18. so when are we going to see the "Infamous Pathfinder That Started It All" back on the trails
  19. Ok, some mechanics say that changing the fluid in an older car, with a lot of miles (assuming the fluid has never been changed) will cause more problems, essentially saying that the old gucked up fluid is holding the whole thing together personally, to me it sounds like it is your exhaust. If the shop guy drove it and just said it was hesitating between shifts, then i think that could be early signs of your tranny going out. so just take it to a shop that will diagnose it for fee, and see what they say. and go from there, since you cant seem to describe it any better for us to help you.
  20. i was looking for the actual one with pictures.... i have taken mine in and out sooooooooo many times its become second nature....but explaining to someone is a different story, and since i dont have a digital with me, i cant take my own pics.....so i was looking to see if anyone could post up the link to a good writeup....
  21. yea but he needs the how to.....i couldnt find it, the one im thinking of i think was on Damaged Reality, which is no longer up and running, so i couldnt find him a good one (a how to remove the tbars).
  22. good luck in that, im not saying that it wouldnt be wonderful, but its just the fact that it would be a bit difficult. Oh, and the TJM order, yea that was pretty horrible. but, i dont think it was TJM asking for the deposit, it was AC, guaranteeing that they would have the required amount of people to justify a shipment. Then when TJM got into it, im guessing they realized they werent gonna make much off of it, and decided not to go through with it which sucks, but thats what happens.
  23. it is hard to justify when no one wants to acutally pay for a $800 bumper. I am not blaming anyone, there is no way i would drop that much for a bumper, so thats why i started looking for used ones, and got my ARB for more than half that price. so that being said i can see why it would be frustrating, but then again, you have to realize that when new things come out for our small (very small) corner of the market it will be a bit pricey....
  24. hey nova, where are you located in "NOVA" im in Winchester, maybe we can meet up sometime and wheel?
