I wish mine was only in the garage for a month. Its been over a year for me now. But that's because I rarely have time to tinker.

Hey JJ. I asked Aaron once about his set up with his swamper LTB's he bought that were 33x13.5x15 and I'll post up the message and his answers since it may prove to help you out. I love the idea of 13.5's too. They look sick as hell and I'm still wanting to get a pair of either the Swamper LTB's or those Pittbull Rockers that are 13.5 wide so I totally see where your coming from. Here ya go and good luck man Aaron. The set I got had no noticeable problems with flat-spotting overnight, or even over a week or two. They ran just like radials as far as I'm concerned. Aaron. Again, nothing noticeable on my end regarding the turning radius, but I'm pretty forgiving with it cuz it's built for offroading, heh. The wheel/tire combo I got must be the world's best setup, cause the fronts and rears stuff just fine into the fenderwells, with very little trimming in the rear and a lot in the front. I originally trimmed my front to fit the old 33x10.50's I had and I didn't have to do anything extra to fit the 33x13.5's. Aaron. The wheels I got weren't new, they were real scuffed up and old. I didn't go pick out the BS I wanted. IIRC they're 15x8.5's with 3.5" BS. My old steel wheels were 15x8's with about 4" BS IIRC. Aaron. Pretty bad. Tread compound is very soft so road wear is fairly noticeable and they tend to cut easily on sharp rocks. I may have gotten about 20k out of them, tops. Hope that helps, man! -Aaron

One other mention on the rust issue if you're going thru the trouble. Do yourself a favor and reach in behind the rear wheels. There's a bunch of little round holes in the frame there. Although you may have ZERO rust on the outside of your frame, stick your finger into each of the holes on both sides and feel around for swelling or soft flaking. As you've most likely read these frames are notorious for frame rust and it attacks from the inside out a lot of the time. If its bad you may want to either alter your plans or do some reinforcing.

On your Lower Control Arm right by the shock mount there is a little piece of metal sticking up on the outside edge. It has a slight arc in it. That makes contact with the Steering Knuckle bump stop. Just put some lube on the little arced metal tab sticking up. There is another one on the front as Tmoore4512 is about to show you with a picture as well. -

try lubing your turning radius stops. Put a little grease on there and see if that makes it go away. The steering knuckle and the LCA make contact at full turn and the sound can be an Awful metal to metal sound. Thats certainly an easy fix to eliminate so try that first. -
If you're going to go thru the trouble of rebooting it yourself then go the extra step and take the whole assembly apart, Clean everything, Check for wear damage, Buy some good Grease, and put it all back together. I did a few of these while at school and its not that hard. Pain in the ass to get them apart and back together but not that bad. Remember to use Wood to so you don't damage anything while trying to use a hammer to take assembly apart. And when using a vice use either soft jaws or wrap them appropriately so you don't damage the shaft.

Sorry to hear about the cash loss man. You really need to make friends with an American just over the Boarder. That what I do and I send crap to his house constantly. Only downfall is having to pick them up yourself. I haven't been to his house in 5 months and I got about 15 things sitting there waiting for me. Hate to tell you this but I bought Rough Country UCA's from Rough Country. I told them I had a hardbody just as someone else on here did. I mentioned to them I had the Kit already but my vehicle was in a front end collision and I needed replacements. I paid $50.00 USD for each UCA and $15.99 for the bushings. Total shipped was $128.00 AND on top of that I dont have to worry about AC's ****** ball joint angle issue. I've been raped by UPS before as well. Never again. -
Just because the subject of CFM got brought up, What do our engines draw out of curiousity?

I strongly recommend some anti seize compound on the splines when installing them cause that is exactly what happens if you don't. When I had to do mine it wasn't pretty. First I blew thru the T-bar with a Torch in the middle leaving it in 2 pieces. I then had to heat the LCA side doing my best to not burn the bushing close by in an attempt to expand it enough to get the T-bar out. I used a BIG set of Vice Grips tightened so freaking tight that it took 2 of us to lock in place. then I used Mechanics wire around it to that it wouldnt pop open on its own. Then Used the Sledge on the Vice Grips after heating the LCA with a very trusting friend holding the handle part of the vice grips with a flat hand to avoid them flying up in the process. SLOWLY we made progress. Just remember to Lube those slpines with a tone of anti Seize and to put your Dust boots on before you get started.

Thats true. the Tensioner could be too tight. It's kind of annoying cause to get the tensioner just right can be a pain. Too loose and your going to obviously skip teeth, Too tight and you going to stretch, or snap the belt. ' Good luck either way.

what about a quest console? If indeed they even have one. I don't think I've ever even seen the interior of a Quest. And if not a quest something else Nissan that HAS cup holders.

very confused, mechanic says my timing belt is metal?
Dowser replied to zelix's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Also man. Pay very close attention to what I'm saying right now. If your Mechanic knows you have a V6 VG30E Engine in Your Pathfinder, and says its a Chain, stating he knows it is cause he has a pathfinder, then not only should you be looking for another mechanic but you'd be better off looking at these 2 threads, and giving it a go yourself. I've done it 3 times on my own and an attempt to change on another with the Aid of Simon when I had absolutely NO experience what so ever. If I could do this job, anyone can and you're money is better spent elsewhere. Besides... you're still young at 16 and have nothing but Time on your side. Tackle this job yourself and it will empower you in a way you've never thought of. here's 2 links. One to a very good how to article, and the other a Video. Timing belt talk starts on page 3, and read the whole thread before jumping in cause it will help you to avoid pitfalls. Good luck. DoctorBill's Timing belt Extravaganza (Thank you DocotorBill for such a great how to thread for others.) Swapdip's informative video.(Thanks Swapdip for a humorous video showing the simplicity of timing belt changes.) -
Id say 13.5 absolute max with a 3" suspension lift, a "3 inch body lift and proper wheel size with the correct Backspacing/offset. 88pathoffroad had them when he picked up his interco LTB's and he said they would JUST stuff in the fenders. Mind you he also had a bomber steering set up so I wouldnt touch that option until you get your steering sorted out.

Here's one on reviews to give you a suggestion for what to buy and how much you will be looking at spending. Review And Hands down one of the best how to's I've looked at for a person that doesnt know what to do is from Doctor Bills Thread. I have this one Bookmarked because its good to use for reference for anyone attempting a Timing belt job and more. Once again, Nice work Doctor Bill. PLEASE leave all your photo's up wherever you have them posted forever. Doctor Bill's AT Transmission cooler starts on page 3ish. Good luck and thank those that have spent their time to make a good how to for you.

Here you guys go. A couple of threads that has differing information to help your Project along. BLING! BLAM! BOOM! That should get ya started.

Whoa now.... Take er easy. No need to get your feathers all ruffled. And judging from the fact that you have 3 posts each 6 minutes apart I'm gonna go ahead and guess that I probably got you heated pretty good. Look, there's no need to get defensive, I'm just explaining how it goes man. You're new here, and as such you do the same thing that a lot of new people do. I'm just trying to steer you into a different path cause the path of asking a tons of questions when they can be easily found yourself, can get on peoples nerves at times especially when you hear what size tire can i run 3 times in a week from new people. And i didn't post in the topics before then because I didn't see much point. The answers we're pointed out to you and links were posted so you could do some more of your own research. And if you read the TSB Transmission thread you can clearly see that if you use GL-5 instead because its cheaper then you're going to wreck your Transmission. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but its doing damage and even if you drain it there's obviously going to be some left over. Also since you weren't getting an answer, i decided to throw you a bone and post up the Link for you from the kindness of my heart so instead of bitching you could say thanks. And you're right. I didn't have to answer this... But I did... with the intention of helping you out with both the information and to give you the gears about using the search function a little more before posting up a new thread on the subject that's been covered many times before. If you'd rather I not have posted it then I'll remember that for any future questions you may have.
